I read all of the reviews before I purchased and decided to go ahead and give it a try. I'm glad I did! This sharpens pencils better than any other sharpener I've ever tried and it does all of the work for you. My kids were fighting over who got to have the next turn and started hunting for more pencils to sharpen. My husband even remarked "good purchase Mom" (high praise coming from someone who would prefer I never bought anything) and took a turn himself. And there are no batteries which I love love love, just a good old fashioned cord! I do have one complaint. In reading the reviews I noticed that a lot of people seemed to have gotten this item for free in return for their honest opinions. How do I get on that list?!?! Regardless, it was definitely worth the money considering that I have 3 children who will be going through school for many more years to come.

I work in a middle school and students are not always gentle with pencil sharpeners. My students have been using these(I purchased 2) since September and so far so good. I did have to give them a lesson on how to use them. I told students that these were "hands off" pencil sharpeners. Students were instructed to put the pencil in until the motor grabs it and let go. From that point on, their "hands are off" the pencil until the motor stops and the sharpener "spits" it out. So far they are going strong after 2 1/2 months. All pencils sharpen to a fine point. The only issue that I have experienced is once pencils get to a certain length,they will get stuck and jam. I also found that this sharpener does not like the pencils that are flexible. Wood pencils of all brands sharpen great! One other suggestion...clean the shavings out daily. This helps with the life of your sharpener.

This pencil sharpener worked well for about three months and now only sharpens one side of the pencil. When it did work, it would pull the pencil into the machine with such a strong force that it was difficult to get it out. I tried to return the whole thing, but it only has a one month return window.

After my old pencil sharpener broke, I was looking for the new one on AMAZON. After read all of the reviews, somehow this one caught my eyes. I took a chance. I know nothing about this brand name. This is a dream Pencil sharpener. It does everything itself. My kids and I sharped 24 pencils. All the pencils are perfect. It sharps by itself and when it 's done the sharpener eject out the pencil. What else can you ask for more. I give a four stars because the waste bin is a little small. If you make the waste bin bigger, I would give a Five Stars.

On the picture it shows and sells as a product with Lifetime Warranty, which it is not. The truth is that when you receive it, it is only Limited Lifetime Warranty. Buyer-Beware. It looks like metal but the container is plastic.

When it works, it works great, but once the lead breaks it's really hard to get it out. Until you get the lead out, you can't really use the sharpener. I saw another review that mentions the same problem and the seller's response is that the product is intended for hard colored pencils. I guess I should have read reviews before buying the product and not after.

I needed a pencil sharpener and tried to go cheap. As I already know, many times going cheap will waste more money, because the stuff doesn't work or last. This pencil sharpener is so worth every penny. I sharpened about 75 colored pencils back to back and this sharpener kept up and did not quit on me, all while giving me a finely sharpened pencil. This sharpener is incredible easy to use and does not waste your pencil.

I bought this primarily for my grandchild who loves to do colored pencil artwork and has about 150 different colored pencils and was trying to keep them sharpened with a little handheld sharpener. She absolutely loves this thing and especially likes that it is fully automatic and all she has to do is put it in and let go. I've experienced no problems so far and I think it's a pretty dang good sharpener for the money. I was tossed up between this and an X-Acto brand and I'm glad I went with this one. I would recommend this sharpener to just about anybody who is looking for a good automatic pencil sharpener.
