Q: What are the dimensions of this item?

I don't have the exact dimensions, but i have the standard six gallon glass carboy and the carboy cleaner works very well.

Q: How long do the pads last and Do they do a good job on heavy Krausen buildup on the top of the carboy?

I used the carboy cleaner to clean carboys for wine. I would say the pads lasted about ten to twelve cleanings. I think the wear and tear comes more from getting it in and out of the carboy neck since it's a very tight fit. I think the carboy cleaner does a nice job in cleaning my carboys.
