GIR Premium Silicone Kitchen Spatula – Skinny, 11IN, Slate

This product is really great-I needed something that would be gentle enough to flip an egg without breaking the yolk or scratching my pan. This does both perfectly. A simple solution to the age old crisis of a broken egg yolk!!

This is my favorite silicon spatula, it's narrow and long and comes in so handy.

We all have at least one or two regular size spatulas. Why another? This one is ideal for getting into jars and cans to extract as much sauce, mayo, jam, etc. as possible. Its size and length are perfect. Easy to wash or pop in the dishwasher.

Bought this after seeing it recommended on ATK video. It's great as a jar scraper, not great as a main spatula to do your kitchen heavy lifting. I'm someone who doesn't like having a bunch of specialized gadgets in my kitchen, but this has proven itself worthy.

It's just a great little spatula. I like the length on it and I like the shape. It cleans things out of the bowl rather easily cuz it's a thin edge

These are nice but a little too long and skinny (= feel less stable) than I expected. I use them less often than I hoped.

I love this brand and have purchased almost all their utensil types. This one is very sturdy from the handle down, but the spatula part is more flexible than other brands I've used. Because of the flexibility, it's great for scraping out jars or scraping small amounts of food that are sticky. It's small, so it's not ideal for large batches of anything. I also wouldn't really recommend it for actually cooking anything. It works best for scraping cold/room temp food. I always put it in the dishwasher, top rack, and it's held up great! Scratch resistance and heat resistance is top notch with this brand. I bought it to help scrape out jars like jelly, mayonnaise, peanut butter, honey, or mixing up aiolis and it works great!

It's the perfect size. We use it for everything; getting the cake batter out of the bowl, getting the pico de gallo out of the food chopper bowl, smoothing out the cake, etc...

Zu weich für feste Teige – trotz guter Verarbeitung enttäuschend Ich war gezielt auf der Suche nach einem schmalen Spatel, mit dem man auch aus engen Gefäßen wirklich alles gut herausbekommt. Nachdem ich schon einige Modelle hatte, die entweder kaputt gegangen sind oder nicht überzeugt haben, wollte ich diesmal bewusst etwas Hochwertiges kaufen und habe mich aufgrund der guten Bewertungen für diesen entschieden – auch wenn er für einen Spatel ziemlich teuer ist und zudem eine lange Lieferzeit hatte. Die Verarbeitung ist tatsächlich sehr gut, da gibt es nichts zu beanstanden. In der Praxis hat sich aber schnell gezeigt, dass er für meinen Einsatzzweck ungeeignet ist: Der Spatel ist deutlich zu weich. Sobald man etwas festere Massen – z. B. einen festen Sauerteigansatz – aus einem Glas oder schmalen Gefäß holen möchte, gibt er zu stark nach und kippt weg. Dadurch bekommt man den Inhalt nicht sauber heraus, was für mich eigentlich der Hauptgrund für den Kauf war. Gerade bei dem Preis hatte ich mir deutlich mehr Stabilität und Funktionalität erhofft. Fazit: Hochwertig verarbeitet, aber für festere Teige zu weich – für mich den Preis nicht wert.

Don't get the mini, this longer handled one is perfect for getting the last of the mayo out of the jar.

La recomiendo mucho, el material de inmediato se siente de calidad superior, es suave al tacto, resistente a altas temperaturas y no se despinta. El diseño en una sola pieza evita que se quede atrapada comida en las uniones, porque no existen, o que se separe y se pierdan las partes, como el resto de las espátulas. La parte cercana a la base es más flexible que el resto, dándole posibilidad de extraer mejor los alimentos de los recipientes. Lo único que no me gustó es que Amazon tiene un relajo con los tamaños, pides uno y te mandan el que quieren.
