This is the perfect solution to "pick slipping." All of us have had the occasional pick slip from our fingers, often at the most inopportune moment. Many pick makers have put etched designs on their picks, and these certainly help, but it's a maze trying to find the right texture and thickness and shape to suit your needs.For many, many players, the Fender Medium is the pick of choice, and has been for many years. A few manufacturers make "grippy" stick-ons for picks, which do work, but are a little small, and go away with the pick's demise; others offer a dizzying array of choices and you must essentially try them all to find the one that works for you.This Pick World has a near equivalent of a Fender Medium embedded in a rubber sleeve, giving a firm, effortless grip and just the right amount of pick exposed. When the pick inevitably breaks or wears away, a new Fender Medium can be inserted, or more of these picks can be purchased.The only drawback is that they appear to be available only in 3-packs, and there is no holder or case designed for them.

Making the upper half of the pick thicker, via a rubber sleeve, makes it easier to grip. Eventually the rubber wears smooth, but it's still thicker. And changing the pick within the boot is simply, if you wish. However, I like the medium pics that come with them. Acoustically speaking, I like the sound. Mostly because much of the clacking caused by plastic meeting metal strings is dulled by these picks. The biggest downside for me is that I find myself relaxing my grip so much that I sometimes drop my pick while playing, which I never did before. I would especially recommend these to someone who's hands are becoming arthritic.

I have very little feelings in my hands due to Diabetes and picks are very hard for me to hold onto anymore. I literally drop a normal pick within a minute and if I don't drop it, it turns and suddenly your using the side of the pick not the tip. I've tried thumb picks, rough picks, picks with holes, Gorilla Snot but nothing worked until I got these. I doesn't turn while you play and haven't dropped it once. If you've lost feelings in your fingers I can't recommend these enough. Perfect pick for people with finger grip problems.

I have cut through, punched holes in and modified picks for 50 years. I alwasy need the triangular picks to hold on to them. This is a new solowion that I really like! Ordinary Medium and Thin plectrum shape, they have a rubber "crown" slid on, that assures a firm grip to a loose girp. This has really improved my playing over my home-made methods of modifying pices. I'll be buying more!A bit pricey, so don't lose them!

I tried all kinds of different things to help me keep my pick in my hand. I even drilled holes in my pick. This pick works great and I have been using it for months. It is all I use as I can't keep the pick in my hand when strumming 16ths. You have to be careful not to let the pick get where you hit the rubber on the strings, but you learn to do this quickly.

I am left handed, but learned to play the guitar right handed. I have always had a problem with pick rotation due to the lesser control of the right hand. These picks have a good soft grip. The pick stays in position. Like them very much.

I'm not too sure about the picks that come with the grip, but I was able to move onto my usual Fender or Dunlops. I had to snip a small corner of the grip due to the angle that i hold the pick and the grip still stays in place and truly helps keeping the pick where I like.
