restores shaver performance to like new.,Braun advises replacing these every 18 monthsIwas at anout14 months. I had not noticed a change in the way the shaver was cutting but I thoughtI would give these a try and see if they made a difference.thet made a difference!mAt$40.00,they are not cheap,but I will be putting another set in in a year or so.If your Cooltec is over a year old,you might want to try a set of these and see if they bring your Cooltecshavr back toOut-of-the-box-performance.Igave a CT5ccto our Pastor friend for Christmasand he loves,it. when I first brought it up, he said"Black men don't do electric shavers ".I told him to give this one a try.He reports no skin irritation and he likes the way it cuts.So, if you have a Braun,Cooltec shaver over a year old,,you might want to,pop a set of these in to see what happens

It tried the cheap knockoff and returned to these almost immediately as the knockoff is a poor imitation of the real thing. Goes to prove the best is the cheapest in the long run.

This razor head works well. It seems a genuine Braun product rather than an 'after market' edition which I found simply tears the skin.
