Purchased - free for my kindleOh my... where do I even start? Lol.The first thing I want to focus on is the fact that this is not New Adult Romance. At least by my definition of it. According to Amazon, this is New Adult (May December) Romance. May December meaning the relationship is between two people with a considerable age difference. - Urban DictionaryApparently, this is an edited tamer version of Under Mr. Nolan's Bed - an Erotica. So when my friend Jess pointed this version out to me, we were curious and decided to read it together. Here is one of my many problems with this story. You cannot take an Erotica, cut out a little smutt, slap a pretty cover on it and then call it New Adult Romance. There is nothing romantic about this story. It reads very much like a porno. No lie. (not that there is anything wrong with porno) I'm not an expert on erotica. I have read a bunch, but none have been like this. This should be labeled May December Erotica, but New Adult is what's in now a days.Forbidden Fruit is the first book I'm reading of Selena Kitts. I see that she's known for writing Taboo Erotica. In fact the real original was even more taboo than the versions that are available now from what I've seen, but I will get to that later in my review.The main focus of this story is sex. Sexual exploration, etc.. I would find this believable if the girls were not 20 years old. I get that some kids grow up living sheltered lives, but they are in college. Catholic college, but still they are adults. Leah and Erica do not act or talk like adults. They are treated like preteens by their parents. It's just weird, and then when it comes to their sexuality, it's like they are just now discovering they have vagina's between their legs.There is a lot of lesbian action that goes on, which I figured from the gist of the description. They tongue each other and all kinds of fun stuff while looking at Erica's Dad's dirty magazine/video collection. That's cool... I can't say I ever got that close with my friends but to each their own.Then there is Mr. Nolan. Leah catches him masturbating one night, and is enthralled. She can't get him off her mind, and when he catches her alone in his room one evening playing with herself and looking at his magazines, this little crush escalates pretty quickly. This is what he says to her when he catches her."These are... these are adult things you're looking at. These kinds of images... they're not for young people."This seemed off to me... because she's 20 years old... She is an adult. But then she follows up with..."I know... I just ... I'd never seen anything like these before..." "They made me feel... funny..." I explained, blushing. "down there... and I couldn't help touching myself."20 years old and feeling funny down there for the first time and referring to is as down there? Um, no. That's just stupid.Now I will admit, these interactions early on between Leah and Mr. Noland are pretty hot. There is something fascinating about the whole forbidden angle. He's older, more mature, knows what he's doing... it's a classic set up. Like student and teacher romances. I'm totally channeling some George Michael right now.But this... this whatever you want to call it between Leah and Mr. Nolan is not romance, it's lust in its purest form.And that's awesome. Who doesn't like some lust? Now put these two "sexual relationships" together. You have Leah walking a fine line between messing around with her best friend and her best friend's Father.This is where I had a problem. I know what you are thinking.. the whole moral issue of keeping both parties in the dark about each other isn't really that big a deal, this sort of thing happens all the time in books. Getting it on with your friends father is a pretty taboo subject I think, but it doesn't end there.. it gets kinda F'd up... and this is where you can either stop reading, or continue on... It's up to you.SPOILER ALERTI could handle Leah exploring her needs with Erica. I could even handle Leah having relations with Erica's dad.What I wasn't okay with was Leah helping Erica come to climax with a vibrator and her tongue while giving her details about what Erica's dad did to her... Which turned Erica on even more.Example.."How did it feel, going inside of you?" She reached for it and started to rub it up and down her slit when I handed it to her."Good." I stretched out between her legs and watched her part her lips with the head, sliding it slowly inside. "Really Good.""Tell me," she whispered, her eyes half closed as she looked down and at me."But..." I hesitated. "Are you sure? It's your dad.""I know," she moaned, starting to F### herself, the vibrator making a wet sound as it pressed into and came back out again. "Tell me..."Also, I was grossed out by Leah screwing Erica's dad in the same hotel room as her, one bed over, then proceeding to switch beds and eat Erica out while the dad slept. The guys cum hadn't even dried off his wonker yet. It just crossed the line for me. I'm not going to lie, morbid curiosity has me wondering what more could these characters have in store for them, if they have already done all this. My prediction is.. it won't be pretty.I actually peeked at another edition, Temptation, Under Mr. Nolands Bed, and the ending was a little different for that one.. but it's nothing that I didn't pick up on in Forbidden Fruit because it's implied and pretty obvious what is going on.I looked at a few reviews when I finished reading, because I had to see what people were saying about it. There are a lot of high ratings which surprised me. I'm sorry, but it did. Someone even said they prefer the original over this edited version. WHAT? lol From what I gather in other reviews, the interactions between Mr. Nolan, Leah and his daughter go a lot further in other editions. Yup, Erica hops right in there and enjoys the fun with daddy dearest and her BFF.Pardon me while I hurl.I cannot recommend this book to anyone. Incest is gross.. Mmmkay?Except in Forbidden by Tabetha Suzuma, That was beautiful and well written. It made sense. This.. ugh, this is just a porno gone wrong.I guess the one star that it does earn, is for the simple fact that at least animals weren't dragged into this mess.

If erotica is what you're looking for then look no further because Selena Kitt has written a story that is all that and then some!Ok, first let me say... Where have I been that this is the first time I've read a Selena Kitt book? Wow, can this author write some amazingly hot erotica! This book will definitely have you fanning yourself but what I really liked was that there was a genuine story behind all the steamy sex. This story touches upon some "taboo-ish" topics so read the author's description about it so you can decide for yourself if this book is for you.Forbidden Fruit is the story of a young woman's sexual awakening as she ventures into a forbidden relationship. The book follows a young naïve college student named Leah and her best friend Erica. The girls find a veritable Pandora's box of naughtiness underneath Erica's father's bed ~Mr. Nolan. So with pictures and videos in hand the girls do some "experimenting" and thus begins their sexual journey ~ both with each other and with the men in their lives. The sex scenes were incredibly hot and very well written. The "forbidden" aspect of Leah's relationships definitely kicked up the heat factor of this book! The way the author wrote about the dynamics of each relationship had me guessing which way it would all go and who exactly would get their HEA. I would have loved for this story to be a little bit longer so I could get more invested the characters but either way I really enjoyed this book.My only qualm with this story is the way Leah and Erica acted throughout the book. The characters are supposed to be young women in college but most of the time they acted and sounded like teenagers. Then I read that this book is a "re-telling" of another one of Selena Kitt's books in which the girls are teenagers in a Catholic school.  Nolan Trilogy: Box Set (Temptation, Confession, Grace) (Under Mr. Nolan's Bed)  It's also a trilogy!! Hmmm... This may need to be my next read... ☺

This was a free read and I had a total different take on the story to what I read in the synopsis. Having read a few books from this author - loved her The Baumgartners Series - I was expecting a hot and sexy read....I mean....look at the fabulous COVER!!!Sadly, I struggled through the pages and have to be honest that I have up before the end....I just could not "plod" over more and more pages that I had no interest in reading!!Selena Kitt is known for writing erotica with taboo elements, which I am not a fan of whatsoever. Consensual, incest, pedophilia, gang rapes, etc, etc. are not something I consciously want to read about - but that's just me and I am not here to judge anyone who enjoyBut the "taboo" subject was not the only thing I did not enjoy.I found nothing likeable about the characters -Leah and Erica acted more like 10 year olds instead of 20...they irritated me to no end..all the giggling.. note I was rolling my eyes a few times. And then there's Mr Nolan!!! Okay, I have no problem with the age difference - but he was for me just a "dirty" old man......I found nothing attractive or even likable about him.I have to admit that this author does write some hot and inventive sex scenes but after a while, even those became a bit boring that I found myself skimming over a lot of those scenes.Plot....was there one???? I think I must have missed it!!!!!The reviews from other readers have given this book very high ratings, so my guess is that there are lots of others who loved this story. So, if you like dirty sex goings on, you will probably enjoy it.Me.....not liked it at all. It was a 2 star really...But I do like Ms Kitt's writing and Iloved the cover!! so that's the reason why I gave it a 3 star.

Excellent story line. Believable situations. Just a brilliant read from start to finish. Can't wait to read another book by Salina Kitt

This is about two best friends Leah and Erica and how Leah becomes obsessed with Mr Nolan, Erica's dad. This is a book about sexual awakening and awareness as we witness Leah's transformation from innocent virgin to siren.The thing I found very disconcerting about this book is the age of the girls, at the start in their school uniforms they seem very young it just didn't seem to fit that they were twenty.If you like your books hot then this ones for you.

I thought it was a very good read and a interesting story line containing erotic reading in each chapter. A book for adult reading only.

Very very hot read but that is literally all it had going for it :/ the storyline was just way too messed up and me tobe able to give it more than 3 stars...
