The media could not be loaded.  I have never made lace before, but when my BFF asked if I could make some lace for her handmade bohemian wedding dress I bought some thread, tiny needles, and braved YouTube (it’s amazing how many Russian videos there are for making lace tape, and YouTube has auto-captioning and auto-translation...time consuming!) but I have learned how to make lace!I quickly learned I needed a thread spindle to unravel the thread as I stitched, and then I found these rings. OMG they make all the difference!I had to resize mine and haven’t (yet? Knock on wood?!) had any trouble. Be sure you don’t try to “unfold” the ring right in the middle at the weakest spot, rather I gently pulled the ring open closer to the peacock head and on the tail. (I’m pretty sure I also just got lucky not to get such a brittle ring, but it’s worth a shot when you’re adjusting it!)Seven bucks to get three cute rings...and they make a huge difference for me! I bent the head in a touch toward my finger so it sits closer and creates a bit more tension as the thread slips through. You can also adjust tension by wrapping the thread around other fingers or changing which finger you use the ring on.I would totally get these again!

Horrible! The posting says its adjustable, yet when I tried, it broke in half. The ring is maybe a size 5? I wear a 7. It shouldn't have broke if its truly made to adjust! I'm so unhappy and disappointed! Do NOT waste your money!

Works good so I hear! I am left hand si it doesn't work right for me...

Opened the packaging 5 minutes before writing this review. My sister was adjusting the loop to fit her fingers.. I also gave her fair warning that it breaks easily based on the reviews I read. Even after delicately adjusting it, the loop snapped.

Be gentle with them! Good thing it comes in a 3 pack...Broke immediately as i tried to adjust it. I had wanted to give this as a gift to my mother, but they're not very sturdy.

Product that I received is not quite the same as the photos. The “beak” hook is extremely small and the yarn will not stay in place. Yarn is constantly split by the beak.

I have only written Amazon reviews for one other product, gripped crochet hooks. This crochet ring has legitimately saved the day for me. I didn’t think it would make much of a difference in my crochet but I was so wrong! It has taken all of the pressure off of my left hand while I crochet and has allowed me to crochet longer and faster with less pain. I would absolutely recommend this product for ANYONE, especially beginners or people who are struggling with hand pain. The ONLY downside is that you cannot control the tension on the yarn, so it is not the most ideal for very tight projects. But for blankets, scarves, etc, it is ESSENTIAL!

These are ok, they either hold the yarn too tight or too loose, but they might work better for someone who knits instead of crochet!
