120 mg caffeine. Competitive value.
I ordered the Amazon Grocery, Strawberry Drink Mix with Caffeine, 10 packets, 1.1 Oz. **Update- I switched to one of the most popular brands in energy drinks for about 10 days instead of this. It had the exact same caffeine content, and I noticed a significant amount of extra energy. I'm unsure if the mix of vitamins did that or if this has less than it says. I still enjoy this, but I noticed it.** I had to stop drinking coffee about a decade ago because it made me severely ill. My body just said one day it's toxic, and it's never changed its mind. So I have had to find alternatives which were mainly energy drinks. However, times have been tough and having to find alternatives hasn't been cheap. I found the best deals at the dollar type stores, but even that was getting too expensive to have one a day. I've tried so many different alternatives throughout the years like caffeine pouches, mints, gum, pills, liquid that you measure, caffeinated water, etc. I've had top notch powders before far before I quit coffee, but I noticed I started to find these individual pouches in big box stores and the dollar ones. I had an idea to check Amazon, and I found this Amazon brand that actually was competitive enough to what I was buying so I was sold. These pouches have 120 mg. The other pouches I was buying either had 80 or 120. Even though I could find the equivalent locally for the same price, this is still a better deal since I don't have to drive. I don't double them up since I don't want to increase my tolerance since I would prefer to lower it significantly or just no longer need caffeine. I just have one of these in the morning, and I use other things I have to make up for the rest. 200 mg is my max otherwise my body can't handle it. If I don't have other things around, I can just do a pouch and a half or so. I don't like the caffeine alternatives where you can't break it up, because it can be unsafe for me to take too much at once, and I value my heart. The taste of these is good. It's an incredibly subtle strawberry flavor. If it would have been strong I would have been turned off. The energy I receive is equivalent to 120 mg so it's effective for me. I didn't have any digestive or other negative issues. I do have to look at nutritional information on these packets and other caffeine items, because too many B vitamins make me break out and get pimples like a teenager. It's versatile since you can put it in a few different things if you would like besides plain water. The ingredients are not something I consider healthy. It seems like a lot of chemicals and things that are definitely not good for my body, but right now I have responsibilities and need to get things done. We all pick our poisons, and if this is my worst, then I'm pretty darn proud of myself, because I use to make exceptionally bad decisions. I would love to see other flavors like grape, cherry, blue raspberry, tangerine, mandarin, etc. I also would love if they offered versions with even higher caffeine like 170-200mg for the tired or struggling folk. Lol Overall, if the price stays competitive, I will reorder every month so I can have one a day, thank you.

An ADHD haver's dream come true.
These packets have a little secret that's super relevant to me as someone who takes ADHD medication: there's no vitamins. This means virtually every caffeine drink on the market is off the table, because vitamin C is packed into most of them, and it also prevents your medication from being absorbed if you take your meds and drink something with vitamin C in it. This has no such drawback, and therefore it's safe to drink! 120mg is a good amount to get you started in the day, it tastes good, I ordered eight boxes lol. It's a VERY cheap alternative and an incredibly viable one. Also, it dissolves really easily with no chunks floating around in it!

price and taste are right
The price makes it a winner. The taste does lean heavily artificial but not chemically on the taste buds. It makes for a great caffeine add-on to my canned carbonated drinks that I buy from the grocery stores. It also does not contain megadoses of B vitamins. A little goes a long way with B vitamins, and most of us get more from other supplements and meals throughout the day. I could use less food coloring, but I guess a lot of people need to see red/pink to taste the strawberry.

Very Sweet, But Nice Caffeine Boost! (Don’t like the aspartame though)
I gave this strawberry drink mix 4 out of 5 stars. It does what it’s supposed to do, but a few things keep it from being a regular purchase for me. First, it’s very sweet. If you don’t like sweet drinks, this probably isn’t for you. Even though it has no sugar, it uses aspartame, and you can definitely taste it afterward. The instructions say to take a sip from a 16.9-ounce water bottle before adding the packet, which is good advice unless you want water spilling everywhere. The powder was also pretty clumpy and took a good shake to fully dissolve. One thing I did like is that it mixed in completely once I shook it long enough, and there wasn’t any gritty texture left behind. From a health standpoint, it’s decent. It’s low calorie, sugar-free, and each packet has 120 mg of caffeine, compared to about 90 mg in a standard size cup of brewed coffee. If you’re trying to drink more water or cut back on soda, I can see why people would like it. My biggest issue is still the sweetness. The strawberry flavor reminded me of a kid’s juice box. I kept thinking it needed something like citrus to balance it out. The aspartame aftertaste wasn’t my favorite either. That said, the value is good, especially if you’re tired of plain water and want some caffeine. It’s an easy way to make water a little more interesting. If I bought it again, I’d use more water than recommended. The packet says about 16 ounces, but I’d add at least another 8 ounces. That helped cut down the sweetness and made it taste more like a light water enhancer. For the price, it’s hard to complain. I paid less than a dollar, and the box comes with 10 packets. While I probably won’t buy it regularly, it delivered what it promised: a convenient caffeinated drink mix that makes water a little less boring. For the value, 4 stars feels fair. One quick post script: I found the caffeine boost about 90 minutes after drinking it and the duration of the boost lasted for a couple of hours so it was certainly effective, which kind of leads to the question that I’m pondering, which is do I sacrifice how sweet this drink is in order to get caffeine in a different way other than hot coffee on a Summer day or drinking a soda with 20 times the amount of calories. So I do feel that there is some value in this product because of that very reason it’s nice in a cool bottle of water, but it is a little sweet, but I did get my caffeine that I wanted.

A great alternative to zip fizz
These are my morning go-to! They taste good, I get a little, pick me up from the caffeine, and these so much more affordable than zip fizz. I wish they would come out with more flavors though! That is my only complaint. The strawberry does taste great, but would love more variety.

Energizing and Fruity Drink Mix Packets With Some Concerning Ingredients
For background purposes, I’m someone who really enjoys drink mix packets and has tried many different kinds over the years, so I had a pretty good idea of what to expect going in. Even so, this one ended up being a pleasant surprise. The strawberry flavor is fruity, refreshing, and easy to drink—it’s not overly sweet, fake, or overpowering, and it doesn’t leave a strange aftertaste like some sugar-free mixes do. It mixes quickly with water and dissolves well, even in cold water, and doesn't leave unpleasant and unpalatable chunks or clumps. The 120 mg of caffeine is the perfect amount, in my opinion and experience, as it provides a noticeable energy boost without being too much or causing jitters or other adverse effects. These packets work well as a way to start the morning or as an afternoon pick-me-up when you need a little extra energy. I also appreciate that the drink mix includes vitamins like B6, B12, niacin, biotin, and pantothenic acid, which makes it feel like a more well-rounded option compared to many other drink mixes. The individual packets are easy and convenient to travel with, so I keep them at home, at work, and in my purse. For the price, this is a very good value for the money, especially considering the caffeine content, flavor, and added vitamins. One downside worth mentioning is that these packets contain artificial food dyes (Red 40, Yellow, and Blue). Additionally, anyone with phenylketonuria (PKU) should avoid this product since it contains phenylalanine. Overall, this is a convenient, affordable, and enjoyable drink mix with a solid caffeine boost, as long as you’re comfortable with the ingredients. While I enjoyed the taste of these drink mix packets, I have given them only three stars because of some of the concerning ingredients they contain.

A strawberry treat, nice and sweet.
Be careful with the amount of water you put the packet in. The more water, the less Strawberry flavor. Start with less water than suggested. Take sips and add a little water until the flavor is what you want.
