Flys straight and easy retrieval
Used with my PSE - fired it 8-9 times this season. Flew straight and easy to retrieve the bolt. With the 2 additional rubber stoppers im guessing it will last 6-8 seasons.

good for in a pinch
it says shoot into soil or sand. all we have is gravel or frozen ground so i shot into an archery target made of rubbery foam. worked good the first time (@ 20 yards) then the moveable part got stuck inside the target, and still in there

Decock with ease
I have used different methods for decocking my crossbow after a hunt. This is my 2nd purchase of this thumper. You get one bolt x long and 3 rubber stoppers. Aim at some dirt (please no stones you hope) and the rubber stopper stops the bolt in a few inches. Use over and over. If rubber wears and gets loose, you have two more. If you break the bolt on an underground obstruction, the stoppers will fit your bolt though using a longer one works much easier.

Awsome de-cocking product
This is a fantastic product! I have used another one that had a solid metal stop which shattered my bolt after 5 uses. For the reviewer that taped and glued it to keep it in place, it is designed to slide slightly up the arrow shaft, to absorb the impact. It is also recommended that you shoot it at least 5-7 yards in front of you, into soft ground where possible. This is an great product if used properly. I highly recommend it!

Barnett decocker
Have used with my Barnett crossbow . Does stop bolt . The rubber stopper is sliding up the bolt . Tapped it down and used crazy glue to hold in place .
