GiiniiGD-80 1080P HD DashCam

WE KEEP ONE IN BITH CARS. MY WIFE HAD A HIT AND RUN AND WAS VITAL FOR THE POLICE CATCHING THE PERSON. I HAD A AGGRESSIVE LANE MERGER THAT HIT MY TRUCK THEN TOLD POLICE IT WAS MY FAULT THE VIDEO SHOWED THE TRUTH. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND A DASH CAM.

Device failed immediately. Turned itself off and back on continuously. Got error message on memory. Could not format the card. Junk.

I have bought 2 of these over the last 9 months and they work great. The last ones i tried of a different brand but same price from homedepot all broke with varying types of issues. The GiiNii have worked very well. Bought the first one from walmart to try it, and bought the second from amazon. Now buying a 3rd for my daughters car. My husband broke his mount but that was because it was messed with because of the window shade on and off . Bought new mounts from amazon super cheap, fit perfect.

I got mine as a birthday present. Been using for a month. I too had picture issues like WANDA, but hit “reset” and it cleared issue. I’ve noticed it randomly stops audio but keeps video. Set up was simple. I like it.Follow up review: Well, since my last review, I had to give this one up. It ONLY records now when I stop the car and turn off the engine, then it records for 3 minutes. Also it only records when its parked when it rains.....odd. I had a large capacity mini SD Card in it and thought maybe that had something to do with it, but nope. Even after I clear and reformat....it only records when I park and when it rains. Interesting.

We bought four of these. Two for each of our cars. One for the front the other for the back. They come in handy when someone cuts you off.

I had this product for 2+ years. But it recorded only a few pieces of videos. Most time it crashed and didn't record at all. Yesterday my are was hit and the driver ran. I checked the USB and found that it has not been working since Dec 15, 2022. Every time When I started my car, it showed recording. I never know when it is working or not. I don't know how to fix it.

Excellent dash cam for the price I got mine at Wal-Mart and haven't had a single problem with it. It's peace of mind for my wife.

The dash cam brand GiiNii is sold at Walmart. I advise not buying it unless you wish to waste time and money. I sent my first dash cam gd-50 from GiiNii in because it no longer worked properly after I upgraded the film ware. I was simplely trying to get the right time stamp for the recordings. The customer support told me to send it in after their main resolve was telling me to hit reset. With inferior tech that's it. If it don't work normally or it works even worse than before after reset you get your money back or make time to waste. I paid the postage to have it shiped back. I'm not use to that and didnt like it. They sent me back another newer model dashcam. I was happy but skeptical.I hate to say this gd-80 also dont work properly. I have wasted too much time and money on this product. Maybe in the future GiiNii will offer something better.
