Just got done trimming feet on 10 big Suffolk sheep. Yeah, my back feels it! But, it took me a fraction of the time and effort that it would have taken with my old foot rot shears and knife. Very easy and sharp to remove excess hoof. Able to cut at an angle that makes the hoof flat to the ground. The old shears cut at an angle that made the side hoof want to grow under. Squeezing these shears to cut is so much easier for my hands, almost effortless. Very manuverable. I don't have to use a knife (at risk for cutting myself and hoof deeper than I want with uncooperative sheep) to trim area between hooves/toes. Much easier on the sheep too, as they cut quickly without the pressure on the hoof the old shears applied. Thus, less kicking. This is the first time in years I have been truly happy with the foot trim job I've done. Now I will no longer dread hoof trimming.

I’ve been looking for ages to replace some favorite clippers. This is it! Thankfully they’re strong enough and sharp enough to do lots of garden work. I haven’t yet mastered locking the blades shut with one hand but I think it can be done. They’re just different from what I had. Happy to have found this clipper at such a good price.

This fits my hand perfectly when trimming my black berry canes. My favorite by far . Highly recommend.

After using an unsatisfactory pair of trimmers with teal handles, I happened upon these and gave them a try. They work great! They cut effortlessly through my goats' hooves, even in the dead of summer when their feet are super dry. The handles are a good size, comfortable and not too large. I later found them locally for a better price, but wherever you can find them, these trimmers are a good bet.
