Trash Gator - 40"

I had been looking for a heavy duty reach extender for about six months. Everything I saw in medical supplies or in hardware stores did not meet my expectations. Light but strong. Rubber grips on tongs help pick up slick things like cans. My previous device was built like a toy and lasted like one. Overall, this one is built well. I would give it four stars but the blue plastic trigger device is a little wiggly side to side and not as sturdy as the rest of the thing. Even so, I'm buying another one.

We love this gator. It comes in handy for picking up everyone's trash that they throw out their car and into our deep ditches. Yes, they still do this in Orange, Texas. We recommend a gator for every neighbor.

This really works! I did not expect much,but since it was not very expensive, I decided to give it a try. You can pick up large and small items easily, and it is long enough to be really useful. I use it gor gardening- to get at vines and things that I cannot reach. I use it to get at things in my fish pond and it works!

Good length for picking up snakes around the yard, but they can slip out. If you wrap a little shipping foam around the pinchers, it helps to not injure the snakes too much, and helps keep them from slipping out.
