Logitech Z906 Surround Sound Speaker System Bundle with Bluetooth Audio Adapter

I have had my old Logitech surround system for many years now, and after all this time of near constant use I finally found a small hole in my subwoofer that was causing a decline in the quality of sound it was producing. I chose this setup because I trust the Logitech name for PC Surround Sound solutions, and this set of speakers does not disappoint. I like the fact that unlike my previous setup, the 5 satellite speakers each allow you to run your own speaker wire so that you can position them wherever you want within your listening space. My old system's speakers had the wires permanently affixed to the speakers themselves, so extending them out to the extreme reaches of a room required additional extension wires to be purchased. With these speakers, I can replace the supplied wires with longer ones, making positioning the speakers a ton easier. I also like that this surround system can hook up to my TV and other household audio devices, and with the Bluetooth receiver it is easy to pair a telephone or tablet to the speakers to play music from these devices too. All in all, I couldn't be happier with the product I received.

Logitech Z906 Surround Sound Speaker itself provides really great quality! And Bluetooth Audio Adapter provides a good connection for home theatre and games. BUT! If you plan to write music with Ableton Live or MPC Beats it will provide 1-second delays and if you plan to play on an external piano like AKAI Professional in my case it was delayed too. So I bought an external soundcard on Amazon: LEAGY USB 7.1 External Sound Card (8-Channel) and connect my Logitech Z906 5.1 to listen to what I play without delays.

I do not have time to give this the review that it deserves. You will not be disappointed.

Was hoping for a little more, as I had the Z623 system, which I was blown away by, and was hoping the larger sub, higher power amp and extra speakers would be a big upgrade. It was an upgrade, but just barely, however I'm not disappointed as the sound is still really good. Does not have individual speakers level adjustments, which would have been really nice. It only has front back and sub. Also, the Bluetooth transmitter that came in this set is really cool, except that it connects to your device automatically, every time you're in range. If the system is set on any input OTHER than phone, or the system is off or muted, notifications from your device may try to go through it and you can easily miss calls, texts, and other notifications

Easy to install and excellent sound...I would have sworn a jet landed in my back yard while watching a movie. These look beautiful with my decor!

Used to think this was a good name, stopped working one month past warranty, should have read reviews. Many many having same problem. Don't know how to fix, bought a Sony.

A Powerful System with Serious Packaging and QC Flaws After getting the Logitech Z906 set up, I am truly happy with the crisp, clean, and powerful audio it produces. This is the quality standard I've come to expect from Logitech over the last 28 years. The satellite speakers feel solid, the subwoofer is a tank, and the whole system feels built to last. The sound itself is fantastic. Just as many other reviews state, the dialogue in movies and shows is incredibly clear, and the surround sound provides a powerful, real-life audio experience. Setting it up was also a breeze. The wiring is straightforward, and Logitech provides plenty of speaker cable—I had more than enough to run the rear speaker wires under a carpet and behind a bookshelf for perfect placement. However, I have significant complaints about the packaging and assembly line quality control. Critical Warnings: Unpacking and Assembly Flaws 1. Be extremely careful when unpacking the subwoofer. The subwoofer is incredibly heavy, and the packaging is dangerously insufficient for its weight. Do not try to lift the subwoofer out of the box using the plastic wrap or bag it comes in. It will almost certainly rip, and you risk dropping the sub and damaging its finish. I’ve seen other reviews where this exact thing happened. I avoided disaster by turning the box on its side and carefully sliding the heavy sub out first. If you have two people, I strongly recommend asking for help. > My request to Logitech: Please, add a large, clear caution sign inside the box warning people against lifting the sub by the plastic. > 2. Check your components for assembly flaws. My diligence in examining new products paid off here. When I unwrapped the front center speaker, I noticed one of its protective rubber feet was missing from the bottom. I found it stuck to the inside of the plastic bag. This is a clear flaw in assembly or finishing. It's concerning because it's the kind of small detail that can be easily missed but holds companies accountable for their quality control. I urge all buyers to inspect every piece carefully. The Frustrating Bluetooth Adapter My final issue is with the Bluetooth audio adapter. While the wired connectivity is flawless, the Bluetooth implementation is cumbersome. The button on the adapter only serves to put it into pairing mode; it does not switch between already-paired devices. This is a frustrating drawback for anyone who, like me, wants to easily switch the audio source between multiple computers or a TV. It's a clear oversight for a system this good. Final Thoughts As someone with limited eyesight, I am particularly reliant on high-fidelity audio to enjoy my computer experience. Bright, vibrant visuals need to be accompanied by crisp, clear audio, and this system delivers that. Whether I'm gaming, editing, watching movies, or just listening to music, the sound clarity is a huge benefit. Furthermore, thanks to the system's high wattage, it produces rich, detailed sound without needing to be "cranked up." I can get a fully immersive experience at a reasonable level, which my neighbors surely appreciate. Ultimately, this is a 5-star sound system hampered by a 2-star unpacking experience and a 3-star Bluetooth adapter. The audio performance is solid, but be prepared to be extremely careful during unboxing and to check for those small quality control flaws.
