Very sturdy. Well built
This is a very simple very tough well-built tool. It is welded from sturdy square tubing. You just have to put one pin in to assemble it. The welding is reinforced as it should be. This is a great product. I took it out of the box , put the jaw onto the tool with a pin and a retaining clip and pulled three posts within 15 minutes. I came across one post that was evidently grown into a route near a tree. Though the pole did not pull it out I put tremendous weight on the puller. What's the square to welding that they did gives it the stability that it needs to handle that kind of stress. Get shipped from a nearby city in Minnesota. I think it might be made there. Buy this product.

Wish I knew about earlier
Used it to pull rebar rods out of the ground, it worked great no effort at all.

takes a beating and keeps pulling posts out.
Sure its a T-post puller but this thing was cheap and looked simple so I figured it would be really rugged. And it is. I needed a ground post puller and the base was much too tall so I fabricated a shorter base and attached the arm with the jaw onto the much shorter base. It took a bit of doing to grab a smooth round posts (ground posts for cold frame used in farming). We figured that the posts needed around 1500lb of pull force to come out because we used a cheater bar onto the arm of this thing. Was worried about the pins handling the force but after pulling out 132 posts out of the ground, its no worse for wear. Cheater bar was 1-1/2" diameter steel rod (not mild steel) and over 4 feet in length. Oh we also had to shim the jaw with 1/4" thick angle iron and the angle iron on the 90degree bend got bent. Shim was needed to get the jaw to get a grip on the smooth posts. We also used it to pull out t-posts. Piece of cake!! love it when it does what it says.

Best Tool Ever
This is the best tool I've ever bought. I am 77 years old and was able to extract 15 T-posts in less than 20 minutes with almost no effort. I tried a few of the poles without the tool and could not budge them. Without the tool, the job would have taken hours, and I would have been exhausted and probably sore for days.

Better than other hand methods
This tools is well built and can take the punishment of pulling the t-post out of the ground. I found that it very important to have the T-post puller on level ground and as close to the post as possible. It was necessary to use a 4' metal pole for additional leverage on stubborn posts. All in all, I don't think you can break this green color T-post puller and it is easier than other hand methods to get the posts out. I wish I had it years earlier.

AWESOME!
Where have you been all my life!?!?! This thing is AWESOME. I pulled 13 T-posts (that had been in the ground for several years) in 100 degree plus weather in under 20 minutes. Super strong, easy to use. Half the price of competitors. Fantastic!
