Nintendo NES Controller

Besides the age; this thing works amazing!I bought mine from a seller who had cleaned it, so the inside and out is presentable. The buttons are sooooo smooth. Tried it on Mario and you can feel how perfect this controller is. Yes there was some minor scuffing, and some scratches by the plug, but for the age and wear and tear that previous owners might have had for this.... i LOVE it!Thank you for the wonderful cleaning, beautiful controller, and super duper shipping speed! 5/5 for both seller and controller!!Everyone, please read the descriptions of EACH sellers item. No two are the same. And a price doesnt guarantee a official Nintendo controller.It took me a hour to decide on which price/seller and what condition i really wanted. Please do some digging on the condition of what your about to buy.

Okay in regards to the controller it self let me say that its awesome to be able to have this back again. Also its great to be able to hook up to my lap top and play tecmo super bowl again (even if the computer cheats and Lorenzo White can break a 100 yard td run past an excellent derrick thomas just because its the afc championship.) The only issue i had was that the controller was rated in excellent condition and when I got it the cord had a slice in it. I dont care though because who knows if it was shipped this way or if I did it, the important thing is the controller worked great, i can seal up a slice with electrical tape, and I can play me some nintendo again.

Fantastic, authentic, original, high quality controller (with official Nintendo logo) in very good condition. Plays games better than I remembered!CAUTION: If you want an authentic controller, don't just click and buy this product. You need to look at the available used listed items and check for an authentic quality controller from one of the specific sellers. Be warned also, each seller may have different return policies.I selected a used controller in collectible quality condition that had pictures of the actual item posted by the seller and said they were authentic original controllers. It cost me about $6.50 and I got exactly what I wanted.

While they'll tell you they're the originals and un-altered, they're really not. While "some" of the parts are original, the buttons and internal guts are changed. This controller has easily been gutted and replaced with cheaper buttons, not found on the original NES controllers from my days of gaming. It works, don't get me wrong. It'll do in a pinch, but these certainly don't carry the Nintendo Seal of Approval on them... Well, the case might, but don't be fooled.

To be clear, this review is NOT an indictment on the seller. They did exactly what I asked and shipped the product on time and as described. These “authentic” replicas are the CHEAPEST thing I have ever seen. DO NOT BUY THEM! If given the choice to waste your money or not play the system, take the boredom. As some background I bought two new controllers. Right out of the box I noticed they weight about 1oz. I thought, “Hmm, well technology has advanced, blah, blah, blah”. Both of them immediately broke. To be fair ever really worked to begin with. Push left, go down. Push up, go left. It was a mess. The low point was when I was playing Super Tecmo bowl. The controller began to falter. First, my player would randomly go in the wrong direction (as mentioned above), then buttons stopped working and I couldn’t call ½ the plays. Finally, due to what I can only call mechanical difficulties, I chose to punt on 1st and goal at my opponents 8 yard line with 20 seconds left and trailing by 3 points. OK, I chalk it up to a bad batch so as any intelligent person would do, I bought another Tomee “knockoff”. Right out of the box, same issues. 3 controllers, all beyond cheap. I finally ponied up and bought some used classic controls.

It's a 5 star ratting guys because its hands down one of the best controllers ever made. The seller sent me an original working NES controller and boy am I loving it. The controller is used and shows some wear, scared it wouldn't work but 100% works with my NES. Anyone looking to buy some NES controllers this seller sells the legit Nintendo controllers must buy folks.
