Includes two (2) base gears and two (2) rubber gears as pictured All base gears and rubber gears for the Magic Bullet are reverse threaded Also a suitable fix for the Party Bullet; Baby Bullet and Merlin 123 models. Please note: The brass or metal nut may still be attached to the blender shaft or blade assembly if the base gear or rubber gear became unthreaded. You will need to remove this piece prior to placing the new part on the shaft. Equipment required for changing out both the base gear and rubber gear (not included): 1. A set of pliers 2. Thick cloth 3. Slotted or Flat-head screw driver 4. Mineral oil for lubrication (not necessary but useful in some cases) Directions to remove base gear: 1. Use pliers to hold the brass/metal nut in place firmly (Only if the base gear was unthreaded) 2. Insert the flat-head screw driver into the base of the blender and turn clockwise - The nut should twist off 3. Place the new gear on the shaft and turn counterclockwise - This will tighten the gear to the shaft 4. The new gear should be securely fastened to the blender shaft! Directions to remove rubber gear: 1. Apply two drops of lubricant directly to the shaft/nut and set aside for 5 minutes to allow it to soak in 2. After 5 minutes; wipe away the excess lubricant and hold the blade on the other side with the thick cloth (to prevent cutting yourself) 3. Use your pliers to turn the gear clockwise to remove the rubber gear (this will take a little bit of pressure to remove) 4. Once unscrewed; take the new rubber gear and place it on the shaft while turning it counterclockwise - This will tighten the gear to the shaft 5. The new gear should be securely fastened to the bl
