Been dropping energy drinks out of my diet and have been drinking Yerba instead and it’s definitely doing the job as a healthy caffeine substitute. Yerba has a bitter and herbal taste, tea and coffee enjoyers are likely to enjoy it. Some people may want it sweetened which can be done but I prefer it as it is. It’s only a small process to brew it traditionally but is definitely the best way to experience it and I’d recommend being a flask to take with you where you drink it so you can keep it topped up. I’ve noticed my skin has been clearing up and my energy levels are up during the day, but again this does contain caffeine and sensitive uses may want to avoid drinking it too late in the evening as you can feel the effects of it. The cup is of good quality with a decent straw. This particular Yerba mix has quite thick cuts wish stems but still has a pleasant smooth taste. Definitely not as bitter as other Yerba I’ve drank.

Beautiful elegant cup, love the shape. Have no option about Mate, was my first time trying it... Bought this set just because loved the cup and I use it for drinking chimorrao. Sometimes using it for green tea, or black tea. I always buy loose leaf tea and the straw ( bombilla) is a very convenient for it.

The tea is quite nice however the cup is nothing special any mug would do and you'd have a handle on a mug. The straw while helpful to not drink tea leaves is metal so itis hot from the liquid.. I would buy the tea which is sold separately by this and other companies and a get a basic cafeteria.

First time trying Yerba mate, I like the little cup and straw quality seems fine to me. The cup doesn't get too hot for me, instructions say to use 80 degrees water only which I did. Apparently the cup and straw are important to making the tea although maybe a tea leaf strainer would do the same job. Tastes almost exactly like green tea so I was pleasantly surprised! Will repurchase the leaves definitely.

Very nice ceramic gourd and well glased. Good bombilla (straw). The tea isn't dusty which is good. The first cup of tea tastes a quite bitter but all subsequent top ups taste pretty good; I recommend adding honey or sugar to cut the bitterness...but I do have a bit of a sweet tooth.

La bombilla in acciaio inossidabile è robusta e facile da pulire. Entrambi gli elementi sembrano molto duraturi e di alta qualità. State attenti a pulire bene la bombilla perchè delle volte potrebbe rischiare di macchiarsi con l'infuso. 🌱Yerba Mate: La yerba mate inclusa nel kit è biologica e ha un sapore davvero unico. Ho apprezzato molto il gusto ricco e aromatico, con note di menta e zucca. È un’ottima alternativa al caffè, offrendo un’energia sostenuta senza i picchi e i cali tipici del caffè, oltre tutto una volta finita ho provato ad acquistare qui su amazon una sua controparte e devo dire che rispetto a questa è molto peggiore quindi il prossimo ordine sarà sicuramente quella di questo kit. 🌈Conclusione: In generale, sono molto soddisfatto. È perfetto sia per chi è nuovo al mondo del mate, sia per chi è già un appassionato. La qualità dei materiali e il gusto della yerba mate rendono questo kit un ottimo acquisto. Lo consiglio vivamente a chiunque voglia provare questa tradizionale bevanda sudamericana.

Lovely item and good quality tea

I picked this cup over a more traditional yerba mate gourd for its looks and as it's handmade in the EU. It does look great, but be aware that it can get a bit hot for the touch as it doesn't have a handle. Nevertheless, I'm very happy with it and the bombila that came in the package. As for the included mate, I believe it's been filtered, so only coarse flakes remain. Due to this none of the leaf matter gets sucked through the bombila, making for a higher quality drink. The taste is smooth and mellow, I like it very much. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
