Stainless Steel Water Bottle (1L / Tree)

i love this bottle - the top is wide enough to chug but small enough so it doesnt dribble everywhere. I only use the bottle for water so i dont put it in the dishwasher and so far the design has held up pretty well. I would definately buy another bottle from earthlust

The bottle is mega-cool, which is why I bought it instead of just a plain stainless steel bottle. However, the paint peels off no matter how you wash it. The other poor review for this bottle said that the paint was flaking off from dishwashing it, which is no shock because it SAYS not to put it in the dishwasher in the instructions. I have only washed mine according to the instructions and the paint is coming off as well. I also bought the bird one and the same thing is occurring. Moral: If people are going to sell something with something cool painted on it, they should make sure the paint stays on. And they can because, just to let you know, the "Earthlust" logo which is also painted on is NOT coming off at all. Shows where their priorities are. I am tempted to scratch that part off so I won't be advertising for a crappy product. To be fair. It "works" functionally just fine. But very disappointed with the graphic coming off.

Love this water bottle! I am still using it FOUR years later!! It's easy to clean and carry. The only problem with these is if they are filled to the top and your drop it then it dents and won't sit right. This is easily corrected with a hammer!

3rd bottle I've purchased, great size, love the tree. I've tried other types and brands and I prefer this bottle over all the others I have tried.

The good: Stainless steel is durable and does not leave any aftertaste to water.The bad: Not dishwasher safe (uses vinegar and baking soda to clean), the tree graphic has already started to peal / flake off, and cap does not attach to bottle.I would still recommend this product. The basic function of the bottle is not lessened by the things mention in the bad section above. The cap does come with a belt clip so you could just tie a piece of string from clip to bottle. Liquids inside the bottle keep a clean fresh taste.

I purchased a 13 oz bottle from earthlust and it had a big brown spot on the inside bottom of the bottle. I purchased another earthlust 13 oz bottle from Amazon and that one had a white spot on the inside bottom of the bottle. It appears that someone tried to cover up a possible brown spot. Amazon told me that the bottle came from the earthlust company and not another company. I am taking this matter up with earthlust. I really did and still do want this to work out but I can not have my kids drink out of these bottles with these brown spots and whitish coverup paint on the insides.
