3 Pairs Thick Flip-Flop Big Toe Socks Crew Mid Calf or Ankle Size: Women 9-12 Men 8-11

Socks are a good mid weight item, of a good medium fit/size. as this two toe split style is comfortable, and wash/dry normal. But you will have to get used to putting/taking them off/on? (and not just for flip flop/sandles, but for any type shoe/boot). but more a three season, as their Not as "thick" as described??

I was looking for a V toe sock that is mostly cotton for comfort and stretchy for support and it had to be a crew style. When I opened the package, I was impressed by the way each pair of socks was packaged. Very giftable. Most of the V toe socks I saw on Amazon were too small a size for me. These were the only ( crew style option) in size 11, so I bought them. And I am impressed. Very comfortable, plenty of support and keep my feet warm when wearing sandals. These socks are a great complement to my Spenco sandals. I have foot problem from an old injury and sometimes wear ankle support. The support fits comfortably under this sock. 👍👍👍

I am changing my original review which said these socks are too tight. They are a bit like compression socks on the first wear, but after a washing or two they feel great. These are very high quality, sturdy socks. The toe socks I bought previously were more like cheaply made ankle socks. These go further up the leg and stay up and are warm for the winter and long-lasting. I would definitely buy again and will never be without flip flop socks again.

I can only compare these to one other brand of tabi socks which weren't purchased from Amazon. Those were all cotton and ankle height. They of course shrunk somewhat and the fit just wasn't as good afterwards. I also, even though it's the Japanese tradition, didn't care for the anklet type of sock either. I'm a human popsicle and a longer length is more to my preference. The fact that these weren't all cotton AND were a crew length sock enticed me to give Japanese style socks another try which I liked to wear with my flip flops and bedroom thongs on cool spring and summer days and nights. These turned out to be well made with just the right amount of cotton and stretch without them leaving constricting bands around my legs. They are thin though not sheer and soft and fit my foot well. I wear a size 7 1/2 and take a AA width and a AAA heel in a well fitting shoe. A size that once upon a time, you could actually find in finer department stores but have now been swapped out for standard B widths. (One size does not fit all. Who dreamed up this clothing insanity anyway??) The only thing I wasn't expecting was the "V" logo on the side of each sock. I can see it now as I'm writing this review but I didn't see it at the time I was ordering so that's my mistake. Nevertheless, though I would have preferred not to have this logo, the quality and fit is such that I plan on keeping them anyway. If these three pair launder well I plan on ordering three more pair come summer as they are really comfortable and appear to be well made.

I use these for Tabi shoes. The quality is great. They are just the right thickness. They wear like quality athletic socks.

Finally, Tabi I love! I've been looking for socks to wear around the house during our frosty Miami winters. We have no carpeting, all tile floors and it can get brisk on your feet during December & January. These are thick enough to keep my feet warm and I can wear them with shoes or my flaps. (I call them flaps because they do not make the noise "flip-flop" only "flap-flap-flap") Other pairs hover just above the ankle. These go half-way up my calf and stay. Good tabi. Some reviews complain they are too tight in the calf. To help with fitting, I am 6' and 175#. My calf is 15" and I am a bit wiry. I can see where others with body-builder calves may find them tight. Also, if you don't like or didn't notice the white "V" on the side, there's always a sharpie.

Not sure what is going on but the big toe in several of these socks tears very soon. Put a pair on and later that same day my toe was peaking out.

These were exactly what I hoped for, once I gave up the silly idea of trying to make these out of an old pair of socks. They fit well and are just cushioned enough as I have a bunion on one foot and wear them with a flip flop which has an arch support built in to it. I was afraid that they would be too thick but they were perfect. My legs are thin, but I am not having any issue with the cuffs binding as a few mentioned. Really excellent product. Wanted to add that they are serving an additional purpose. I have a bunion which causes some discomfort between the big toe and next one and for a long time I have used products like lambs wool to cushion the area. I found that these socks separate the toes enough to make me comfortable.
