So the main reason I ordered this was because I tend to grill steak for dinner and when I am by myself, its hard to hold the flashlight and grill at the same time at night for dinner. This thing works like a charm when it came to that purpose and love the battery which lasts great deal and also the fact that I can recharge or replace the battery later on if I need to. The light is super bright which is great and also has less bright mode which is nice for steaks so that they look like a descent color. When it came super handy was when my daughter got lice and we had to get rid of them in her hair and having this light on your head with super bright color, we were able to pick out all the buggers in one sitting and helped big time. Ever since then I use this all the time for anytime I need a flash light. I would highly recommend this product.

Being a Volunteer Firefighter on the Big Island of Hawaii, I looked for a primary helmet lamp that is bright, durable, water resistant, and with a battery life to last through the night on brush fires in rugged terrain. Having used the M-1 three times now, I am very pleased with it's performance and highly recommend it. The light meets or exceeds all of the mentioned criteria, and their customer service is very attentive. Please note I have a second lamp attached above the M-1 for back-up, that is not included with this product.

This light is so awesome, I had to buy another and recommend it to a colleague. The aluminum body and telescoping feature are very nice. The lens has good vertical articulation and holds its position securely. The batteries are not typical AA batteries, but much larger. The whole headset has good balance and is not uncomfortable. This light is perfect for working in dark places.

I previously purchased a 2 pack of cheapo headlamps from the hardware store, and they only lasted a few months. This headlamp looks and feels solid. It’s also really bright. You can pan the light vertically, and it firmly holds its position when you move it. The zoom is awesome, and it feels smooth and high quality. The batteries are not fully charged when the light arrives. In the instructions, the manufacturer recommends that you use up the batteries first, and then do a full recharge. The light on the charger turns green when it’s charged. It’s cool that you get a wall charger and a usb charger with the light. A nice bonus feature that I didn’t expect was the small red taillight on the back of the headlamp. It seems that the manufacturer was thoughtful in many ways when designing this.

Heavy but certainly a great flashlight during backpacking trips, so clear bright. You can charge it in the car with a USB connection while on your way to your camping trip.

This was a great buy! Excellent product but better yet was the company who stood behind their product when I broke a small piece on the light. Got this for my husband. He's always trying to hold a flashlight and do something else at the same time. This works perfectly for him. Now he doesn't have to hold a flashlight in his mouth! He's already used this twice since Christmas and is truly impressed with the amount of light it gives off. Great product!

I like the brightness of the light, even though the light housing gets pretty warm.
