Well written and goes in depth for every verse using tons of cross references, historical truths and Greek definitions and more. Highly recommend to any Christian person or groups to desire a closer experience in God's Word. I personal believe it would be perfect for a class seeing it has very compressed information into short chapters that can be guided through quickly OR used for some amazing open discussion by using the study guide of questions in the back to drive the conversations with. BEST BEST book out there. you will not be disappointed.

I have used this study in a small group context and found it to be excellent. Sticking true to the Scripture, helping the learners work through each passage and clear language are some of the many benefits. Highly recommended!

I bought this book expecting to give it 5 stars, however I want to give it zero. The authors silence on predestination is deafening. 1 Peter 1:2 - "who have been chosen according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, through the sanctifying work of the Spirit, to be obedient to Jesus Christ and sprinkled with his blood: Grace and peace be yours in abundance." The author does not say one thing about predestination. I am not a theologian, however one only needs to read the New Testament to see predestination talked about all over. For example Ephesian 1:4, 2 Tim 1:9, & Rev 13:8, just to name a few verses. You can also listen to the late RC. Sproul's 1 Peter teaching as well. If the author doesn't believe in this biblical doctrine, he should not write a biblical commentary.I am saddened that the publisher, Banner of Truth Trust allowed this. I pray that William Harrell corrects his error.This has been warned about in Gal 1:6-9.
