should I order one size up if I'm an 8.5?

I personally would stick with an 8. I am an 8.5 and wear 8-9 depending on the shoe/brand. I normally wear an 8 in most style Uggs, with room to spare for socks. The 8 in these fit me perfectly out of the box, maybe a tiny snug across the top of the foot at the fur cuff part, but I know the lining will mat down and they will stretch with wear. They are otherwise plenty roomy and cozy. Size 9 in this style would definitely be too big for me

How to you wash these?

I’ve washed them using the gentle or hand wash cycle. I do not dry them in the dryer, just air dry. They turn out perfect
