Great net, no regrets
This net is great. Better than expected. There are no free public badminton courts near where I live. There are several badminton clubs, but they are fairly expensive to use, and I don't really play that often to justify paying monthly membership dues. So I looked for a portable net to use. After some research, this seemed like the best one. The difference between this one and the Yonex and Wilson portable nets is that this net is regulation size (20 feet). That is really important. The other nets are half as wide (10 feet). The other nets are almost as expensive as this one; it's worth it to spend the extra money to get a full width net. This net looks great. It's sturdy, with good tension. It's easy to put together, less than 5 minutes. It comes with a blue zipper bag, that can carry the net, posts, and anything else that you might want to bring, like rackets and shuttlecocks. Overall, strongly recommend.

Very good value for money, quick install/takedown, tension mechanism could be better
If you are a novice player, simply ignore this review. Most reviews give you a good picture. If you are particular about 5'1" height of net at the side-lines and 5'0" at the center, you will have to improvise to make this work. The product shipped and arrived in/on time as stated. It is extremely portable, very easy to assemble and take-down. Sometimes the tension rods may be harder to pull apart, but nothing you can't work with. It is light to carry around and packs in a bag smaller than my tennis bag. It looks aesthetically done well. The tension mechanism could be better. Although simple, it doesn't work well. We had to put a brick/bag-of-sand/block of wood under the tension rod at the center to get more tension so that the net won't droop. It drops more than 2". This may not matter to most people, but serious players will see the difference. Another way to circumvent this problem is to raise the side bars higher than where it snaps.BTW, the picture shown is probably an older/newer version of the net. The instruction sheet shown in the set of pictures gives you the right idea of what the net actually looks like. For the price, this is a great value. I have bought two for a tournament initially and my friends have bought more on my recommendation and having played using this net.Update (30th October, 2015):We have used three of these net systems for more than 2 years now, always indoors in a gym. We have gotten used to putting some blocks to push up on the tensioning mechanism at the bottom. No complaints. We have ordered replacement net fabric because we wore off the ones we bought these with. Customer service of Genji Sports is very good! The replacement nets arrived promptly and they work well.We all swear by this system. This simple system has worked really well for us. If in the future a system breaks due to wear, the only system we plan to replace this with is the same. I am raising this from 3 to a 4 star. The only reason that I wouldn't give this a 5-star is because of the slight slack that tension mechanism doesn't address (which, as I mentioned earlier, matters only to serious players)

Not worth it!
This net is definitely NOT worth it. I honestly wouldn't even give it one star. It came missing pieces, parts were broken, and even if all parts would have been included it would not have met the manufacturers description. It did not come with any directions, did not stand up to proper height, parts were bent....I could go on and on. It definitely is cheap. If you are looking for something portable you are better off buying some PVC pipe, a net and then filling 5 gallon buckets with gravel and inserting the pipe. That is what we wound up doing for our youth group after this flop.

Pros and Cons
Bottom line: This is the only decent full size net/pole set you can find in current market.Pros:- Easy to assemble. It is very straight forward to assemble. May take you 10 minutes the first time. Later on, it only takes a couple minutes.- The height of the net is precise.- Very portable. You can easily carry your racket bag and this set together.- The price is reasonable.Cons:- Like one review already said. It could be hard to take it apart. The parts are not created with precision. It could be very hard to pull them apart. Some time, I have to work with another guy to pull things apart. It shouldn't be difficult to change the design and give the connection part a little bit more room.- One of the set I bought miss a part. I had to return.

Great Badminton Set
This is a great set. It's very easy to set up and take down. The carrying bag is also easy to carry and durable. Everything is just as advertised. We've used it inside a gym a few times and it's such a pleasure to play badminton with a nice-looking professional net. This set definitely worth the money.

Great intro product
This is a great system to get started. It's much better than the cheap net and post you get for outdoor use. We got this in Aug. of 2013 and began using it right away at least 3x a week. We had no problem at all until Jan. 2014. There have been other reviews about the plastic part that the tension bar goes into on the net post. The reports were that it broke. Ours also broke, but again, not until we had used it several months. I called the mfg. and they were great. They had me send it in and they repaired it and I had it back in a couple of weeks. The piece in question would be better if it were steel instead of plastic, but just be careful when you slide the bar in and it will be fine. The only other comment I would make is the size of the openings in the net are just perfect for the bird to get stuck in. It doesn't happen a lot, maybe 4 or 5 times in a match, but the bid will get stuck in the openings and it can take some time to get it out. Other than that, I would not hesitate in buying this system again and I will do so if and when I need to.
