EtekDirect Remote Control Wireless Light Bulb Socket switch for Lamps Bulbs and Fixtures (3 Sockets 1 remote, battery included)

I absolutely LOVE these. I use them inside a room, in an adjoining room and have even put one on my outside porch and it GREATLY increases my feeling of safety not going into dark rooms and allows me to turn lights on and off from my bed at night. I receive no compensation for this review but want people to know when something is soooo worth the money! I just wish I could add more to one remote and have mutliple remotes to put in other locations such as at the door entering a room also. Regardless of the wish, these are wonderful.

I've used this product for over a year now. The mechanical room in the basement still had pull chains on the 2 light fixtures in the room (I'm currently not using the 3rd socket). You'd have to walk into the room the find the pull chain to turn on the lights. I was planning on hiring an electrician to install light switches until I came across this product. The sockets are easy to install, just screw them into the fixture and the bulb into the socket. The remote has 3 different on/off buttons (one for each socket) and works well. The only drawback on this product is that the remote did not come with a mounting bracket (it's hand held as is). I was able to use the packaging to make a mounting bracket and it's been working well for over a year.

These work sometimes and not other times. Even at point blank range. Totally unreliable. Instructions are unintelligible although not much instruction needed. The battery is not a standard battery size so special order thing. I don't plan to use these because they don't work well ie they are a pain. I put one about 35 feet from my house in a protected area outside my garage, but also tested all three in a lamp inside my office at close range. I really wanted them to work for me, but a total waste of my money.

Where have this product been all my life. lololI actually have a four receptical light in my bedroom where I use 2 of these lights. One is a low powered bulb (99.9% of the time) and the other one's much brighter which I turn on if I want to read a newspaper. Nice to be able to turn the light off while in bed as well. :)

Arrived as promised. The product works great! There wasn't much instructions however, there wasn't much to instruct. Screw in the adapter and push the button. As you used them the controller set the next button. All works well. Thank you. JK

1 of the three worked great. One of the other two we got doesn't look like it was ever assembled all the way! Even after snapping the pieces of plastic back together it wouldn't function at all. The third one worked if the remote was held within a foot of it.

it works just like it was presented, delivered in a timely manner and works well for its intended purpose at an attractive price too.

Package received when it was supposed to. Although one of the units had come apart and looked doomed, I was able to put it back together and it worked after that. All units work fine and do the job they are designed to do. Still early in their life but so far so good...
