dmMediaConverter [Download]

I was tired of all the freeware with spam or adware on the Internet. I gave this app a try and it Converts MP4 to Mp3 on my Windows 7 Pro. It converts video files to other formats also. I'm not sure if it will convert the videos you buy from Apple since those files are encrypted. You'll need to ask that in the question section on Amazon. Hats off to the developer.

I went, I saw, I lost the war. I downloaded it, I studied it, it conquered me. All I managed to do was pay for this thing and then uninstall it. Worthless if you're not the programmer who designed it (and that's assuming he can use it). No instructions, no Easter Egg clues, money well spent.

Works fine, very versatile.

This would be a great piece of software for a computer programmer to use. But for a novice like me without knowledge of computer coding terms, it is a challenge. The screen is not designed in a way that makes it easy to navigate. I.e. you eventually find a small button at the bottom of the screen that allows you to move on to the next step. More attention should have been paid to the graphical layout. I bought it to convert mp4 video files to MPEG2 (DVD) format. It did not work as I hoped and I could not produce a playable DVD disc using this software. The upside: it was only $5.

Too confusing to use

Used to use the Any Video Converter until it started to ship with garbage.Decided to buy a video converter which does what it's supposed to do and nothing more.Watched the youtube instructions before purchasing and I know the steps involved.If you didn't watch the youtube video, the GUI isn't intuitive for a new user.Having encoded my own mp3 from wav files back in the day via the command prompt, I totally get this program.I love it.

no good. the ONLY format to convert to was MKV which Fire tablet said it is corruptI feel cheated, but what should I expect from $5Save time , skip it

Doesn't handle MTS files. Purchased this software because it could alter the clips recorded date. Great I thought, just what I was looking for. Then found out this software doesn't recognise common MTS files - pointless. Compiler seems to have a thing about matroska files as this seems to be the outputs default setting. Waste of money.

Zum Splitten und Schneiden von mpg Programm Streams total ungeeignet, Ausgabedateien haben im Ergebnis ein Durcheinander an Tonspuren, nur leider alles ohne Inhalt, selbst ohne neue Encodierung und Passthrough. Für meine Zwecke unbrauchbar.
