I want to coat a wooden box with this so it doesn't catch on fire from a high energy 1,000+ watt bulb placed inside. Will it work?

You need a metal box. There is Intumescent paint that slows the wood from catching fire but you need a metal box.

Can more people please post pictures of paint jobs and list the color used so people can see what the colors truly look like? In various lighting too!
