This fits and works well in my Maker 3. Saves money over the name brand. However; I do find that I reach for the stylus more often since I don't have to stop and switch out the tools every time I need to score. The score with the wheel is a bit deeper than with the stylus for sure. But I have also found that sometimes my cardstock project fails with that deeper score, i.e. the paper actually tears at the score. I think the wheel would be good for simple scoring, like for an envelope or a box. The stylus is better for things that are more intricate, with lots of folds.Update 7/31/22 - I almost returned this when I discovered that the scoring bit at the bottom was falling off the housing. I initially was hearing a weird noise, and my Cricut was flashing a red power button. I was super concerned. Then I noticed the loose piece that had dropped off and I was again concerned that it wasn't holding on properly. It happened a second time. And then I got the error that the machine couldn't recognize the device. I even initiated a return. But it turns out the problem was user error, haha! When I was placing this into my machine, I was pushing from the top, and accidentally pressing the release button. Oof! I felt super stupid! Make sure you push down along the sides, not in the middle to avoid my silly error.

I just got my new cricut maker. A scoring tool is an absolute must for so many projects. This one works perfectly. It was a lot cheaper than anything I could find local. I'm already making new projects with it.

I bought this for my daughter. I priced it out at Michaels and it was literally priced above $75. It came right on time and was just what I had ordered.

This product is well constructed, works as described. The quick swap housing is easy to use. The thin scoring head worked very well with standard card stock. Would recommend product for Cricut users

This was a gift for someone, and it worked fine
