She actually LOVED this journal!! Even though it showed up to my doorstep DAMAGED!! I was super disappointed:(. The bottom right corner had been bent inwards, so there was an obvious crease in the leather cover of the journal. I honestly didn't want to gift it to my fiance but had no more time to buy a birthday gift so she got it anyway. In the end she didn't even notice and she was VERY happy with it. Totally surprised. Went with the burgundy shade, which was beautiful, and the design and name showed up wonderfully on the journal. I was surprised a bit that the journal was wide-ruled, expecting college instead, but I believe that was due to a lack of research on my part.All in all, the journal was beautiful and the shipping was very quick.
