High Quality Daily Usage Towels, With Some Heavy Lint Production Concerns
These towels are a good deal for the price, offering reasonable softness and comfort for a comparatively low price. These are a fairly low pile sort of fabric, soft enough, but not the ultra luxury plush towels that one would find in an expensive hotel, but they are environmentally friendly and also cost less than those plush towels.Of note is how quickly the towels dry, and how impressive their absorbency is. The towels have held up well through heavy use and several washings, and show no signs of wear, tears, or loose strings. The only mild concern I have for the long term is that these towels produce an awful lot of lint when electrically dried, leading me to wonder if all the shedding of material will eventually thin the towel out or otherwise impair usage. As of yet, no trouble signs, but the excessive lint production has continued through a few drying episodes, so this apparently is not an initial use only issue. It could still be a short term duration problem only, of course, but time will tell. These are great towels for a guest room or for kids, or for reasonably Stoic minded folks that want to save a few dollars and want environmentally friendly products. I recommend these for any application where you don't need ostentation or ultra luxury, and especially recommend these towels for use in high humidity settings where you need extra quick air drying capability.

Very good quality set, soft and absorbent
I'm not usually a fan of white towels but I really like this set. All of the towels and the washcloths are generously sized and while the wide banding isn't particularly decorative, it's still nice enough that I hung one on a towel ring in my bathroom (albeit with strict instructions that no muddy hands are to touch it). When I opened the package, the towels did feel a little scratchy but just refolding them was enough to soften them up. They're very absorbent and dry quickly - I use one for my hair and it wicks most of the water away by the time I get dressed, then it doesn't take long after I hang the towel up that it's dry again. They're a relatively bright white and so far I haven't had to bleach them - my normal laundry soap has a brightener in it and it's done the trick to keep them looking good. The stitching is still solid, there's no fraying or unraveling and they haven't pulled out of shape. This is a great value - I price out towels every so often (because who doesn't need more towels?) and they're expensive! The only consideration for me was the color and it hasn't been a problem at all.

Good
These are very good quality, economical towels. They are nicely sized, absorbent and dry quickly on the towel rack. I see a number of other reviewers describing them as "plush." I would be reluctant to go that far, however they are pleasantly soft to the touch and fine for everyday service. In use, I can detect no difference between these environmentally-friendly towels and others produced by more conventional manufacturing methods.I have machine washed them (warm) three times and they have emerged unscathed and as bright white as new. I cut myself shaving and despite my best efforts, I got blood on the hand towel. My usual procedure with my Pinzon and Target towels, rubbing a little Tide directly on to the stain and then washing in the machine as usual, worked perfectly. My concern is that even when drying (medium) the two sets for the third time, the lint screen became covered with a thick mat of fibers. I stopped the cycle halfway through to clean off the accumulation to make sure I didn't damage the machine. The hand towel is about 15" by 28", the bath towel 27" by 51" and the wash cloth 12" by 12". Sizes are approximate and after the aforementioned three machine washes and drys.

Earth Friendly Towels are Soft, Absorbent, Ligth-weight and yet Strong
The Optima set of towels is an eco friendly version of a product you would not normally think of being renewable. I generally prefer Egyptian cotton towels, since the high thread count makes for a soft, comfortable towel that dries well. This set of towels are soft, but not as thick as regular towels. Despite the fact, they are surprisingly very absorbent and lighter weight. They took some getting used to. The company claims to use a special regenerative cotton process with no fertilizers, pesticides, land use, or waste in landfills. They are Earth friendly indeed. The set comes with 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels and 2 washcloths. They are also strong, stronger than my other towels. If you prefer to use Earth friendly towels, I do recommend these. They do what the manufacturers claim. They are also easy care and wash well.

Eco-Friendly With A Somewhat Plush Feel
Made in India, according to the labels, these are very fine towels with a nice, somewhat plush feel. Not the best, but far from motel grade. They are also very absorbent and a good size. The bath towel's 54 inches wraps nicely about my 36" waist. The washcloths feel great too. I like the fact that these are eco-friendly and are using material that would otherwise be thrown away. When I need towels again, I would choose these over many more expensive brands. As others have mentioned, like most new towels there is a significant amount of lint the first time or two you wash them. Also as they soak up a lot of water, they take longer to dry.

Luxurious towels.....we love them
These are some of the most luxurious towels I have ever owned. The size of all pieces (bath towel, hand towel, and washcloths) are very generous and the pile is thick and soft. I have washed these towels a dozen times and there has not been any excessive loss of lint of "plushness" even with multiple washings. I have hung these towels to dry as well as dried them in a dryer and they have been very soft, regardless of the drying method and without the addition of fabric softeners. I can't say enough how much we love these towels in our family, and I plan to replace some of our older, worn out towels with more of these.
