I got these for outside as cat minitor for cat wanting in. Also good just to know someone coming to door. I got the pair for to always have one charged. Used for a month before swapping over but was still power so would give that top marks. Quite flexible on how to position as well. The bell i have plugged in. 3 volumes, quite loud, and lots of different tunes. Can also turn sound off and just have flashing light alert instead. Had no problems and totally happy with them.

The cat is happy, which is the main thing, right?I had a sensor outside before, but the British weather got to it and it stopped working. This one claims to be weatherproof and it has lasted a few weeks of good old English heavy rain so it is promising so far.If the cat is inside and it goes off, then I know there is another animal or intruder out there so I go suitably equipped (or meekly look out the upstairs window). It detects our cat coming from all angles, so works well for this purpose and lets us know the cat wants to come in (we don't have a catflap).There is a range of ring tones too so you can choose one that doesn't sound like your front doorbell (so you are not going off to let the cat in while your Amazon delivery is waiting by the other door). The ringer is quite chunky and needs to be plugged into the mains to work. There would not be room for other plugs in adjacent sockets.It's range is good, it worked wherever I put it in our 3 bed house. Overall, pleased with this.

Only just fitted ours today, very much over sensitive at picking up movement, wish we could alter the sensitivity but at least we can turn down the volume on the receiver

Works extremely well, when l so had to relocate the sensor to shield it. first installed every passing vehicle rang the doorbell. Had to relocate the sensor, its fine now but goes off if even a cat shelters from the rain!

Really good quality product has a lot of different sounds to it

Seems a bit sensitive.I messed about with it for ages, but I'm not impressed. Not saying it would work in other people's situation, but for my situation, meh. Bought a camera instead.

Not waterproof. The instructions state not to expose it to rain, snow or sun and it is the EXACT same model as the one I was trying to replace because the sensor stopped working in the rain.If the sensor is protected from the elements it's a good product, but 1 star because it's dishonest marketing.

Easy to install. Works well, a bit over-sensitive and often triggered by swaying branches, but overall it’s effective
