Perfect for travel and great support
A great purchase!! The flexibility and support of this is incredible. Deflates to a little roll and expands to a hard pillow. Took it to vegas for days of basketball watching and my back never felt better! When finished for the day, deflated to a roll that fit into my back pocket. Absolute hone run!!

Must have for coach class
This is so good that it goes right to the top of the list for frequent air travelers. If you ride on RJs a lot or travel in coach at all, this is such a huge upgrade in comfort that it's easily worth the seemingly high price tag. I lost one and immediately bought another. Makes worn out RJ seats bearable. Makes all the difference on longer flights in coach. Would probably be good on bus seats too. For anyone with lower back issues, this will make you feel human again. Just wish it had a small retention loop.

Used 3 years now and still going strong
Update: Its now 2019 and I bought this lumbar support pillow back in 2016. I am still using this one every day. It is mostly my car seat back pillow, but I occasionally bring it out. It rolls up and deflates to fit in my purse when going to the movies or to church. I don’t have to blow in it to inflate it. I can just loosen the knob and it airs up itself. It’s still a great pillow. Fully inflated on its own and still very much useful and helps relieve my back pain. I would recommend this pillow to anyone with lower back pain and I’d buy it again if I ever need to. But I’ve had it for 3 years now and it’s still going strong.I've had this pillow for four months now and it's still working great. I use it daily since I have bulging discs in my lower back. I use it in the car and take it out, let the air out and roll it up to stick in my purse if I'm going somewhere where I need to sit for a while. It rolls up really small. It doesn't inflate too much on its own now when I loosen the cap to let the air in. Probably because I've used it so much that the foam inside has flattened some. But I just give it a few breaths of air in the opening and it's back to new. I really like how I can open the cap to let however much air out I need to when I'm using it. It can be softer or firmer to my liking. I'm glad I chose this one as opposed to a pillow that doesn't allow for this adjustment. Sometimes I just need more support if I'm in a chair that doesn't have lower back support. Sometimes I only need a little support if I'm in a tight space like my car seat.

Good pillow, a little more cusihon would be better
It has a good size to cover your whole back, and is comfortable, but I was hoping it could inflate just a bit more, when a chair has 0 lumbar support is difficult to use, because is constantly sliding (maybe Im just using it high on my back). The price could be more attractive. In General I like i, is compact, so I can carry it to the movies/events deflated in my jacket.

Actual back support
This product actually supports your back!! It is not memory foam squishy nonsense that immediately sinks with no resistance. I bought this for my partner with sciatica and lower back pain and this cushion has been the biggest help. It's small and portable, yet customizable in firmness. He takes this cushion everywhere, the car, the movies, dining-in, etc. This is well worth it and will make long sitting sessions bearable, highly recommend.

Great Travel Back support
I am so glad I found the Therm-a-Rest Lumbar Travel Pillow for my trip to Orlando. I didn't want something bulky to hang off my carry on suitcase. This pillow easily rolls up by squeezing out the air. It did not take up much room in my large purse. When unrolled, it self inflates and provides great lower back support.

Sadly I wished that this would have helped.
We flew to Italy from Phoenix. 5 hours across the country. Then another 9+ hour flight. I guess I could say it sorta a little bit helped. Have the other flights I forgot I had it. I usually use my shirt or something thing.Pro's it is really tiny when you take all the air out of it for traveling a lot that was nice. We went to 5 cities and 7 flights, train rides etc. I only used it for the 2 long flights. It is high quality material will last long. Maybe it would be good for car rides, train rides or camping. Fit in the arch of your back good. maybe if they made the design a little more curved for the lower back that might be a better design.Con price is way too high and I didn't feel it helped that much. However I had to have back surgery 4 months after so my back was so bad maybe I am not a person to give a good review. I put off lower back surgery for over 10 years. This wasn't soft. Hope this helps. It was good where it wasn't too bulking and your back didn't feel like you were being pushed forward too much.

Portable comfort
My last one got submerged and water too often, and it’s not supposed to be used on water so eventually it started to leak after years of misusing it. So of course I got another. Highly versatile for car/plane travel and camping.
