Ram Horn Shofar (12-14 inches)

I was disappointed because the description said 12-14 inches, the the shofar arrived I was expecting a 12-14 in Shofar what I got was an 8 inch shofar, however when I measured it from tip to tip following the curve it was 14 inches, to me this was very deceiving. So I contacted the seller HolyLandMarket what they said was the way the measure was not any different than any other seller of shofar worldwide. They were sorry I was disappointed in the product but reassured me that they were upfront and honest about their description of the product. I believe them. Another reason I was disappointed is they said they shipped the shofar on 8/09 but when I received it the post mark was 8/10, I paid expedient prices to get it here on time but it arrived a day late...The shofar looks nice just a bit small, and the seller were pleasant and seemed genuinely sorry for my disappointment so I gave them three stars.A heads up: when you see a shofar is so many inches keep in mind that the seller could very well be measuring around the curve of the horn rather than straight across, so it will be much small than described.

I am very satisfied with the shofar I received. I purchased it for my husband and he loves it. It is exactly as described between 12-14 inches and has a beautiful sound. I received it within a week. I am very happy! Thanks!

it's ok, the one in the picture looks better than the one i got but I understand not all horns can look the same, my main problem is with the size, the horn I got is 9 inches and not 12 -14. this is if you measure the length of the horn from beginning to end, if you measure it following the curve and shape it does measure 12 inches but then you'll be measuring the surface of the item and advertising a product based on that is in my opinion pretty misleading.

The buying and shipping process was great, the product not so much. The Shofar is not accurately portrayed in the picture,the Shofar pictured is a black and polished ram horn, and the one I got was natural and polished ivory white. It is a very basic Shofar. Mine did come in at 12 inches so the measurement is accurate. It also came with a cut on the top of the Shofar, that looks like it was a manufacture error. I was hesitant about buying a Shofar online, and I'm even more hesitant now.

The company is AMAZING! I had an issue with the first Shofar and they worked with me to get a new one out. Such great people!

This shofar does not work right (or I need instructions). I have not been able to use it in my Sabbath worship as I had hoped. Do you have instructions for how to use this? Thank you!
