I recommend the book for colleagues who want a quick exposure ...
I used the "first iteration" of this book to prep for the PMI-ACP exam that PMI offers. I passed! When I saw that Crowe had released "Iteration 2", I wanted a copy to stay current. I'll explain...PMI recently released a preview of the 6th Edition PMBOK Guide and it includes (FINALLY) language about adaptive and agile practices. They (PMI) are committed to including agile methodologies along with traditional in the project management standard. So, I wanted to grab Crowe's latest book to stay fresh on Agile. Here's the deal: if you want 1 source that will expose you to all things Agile and prepare you for the tricky exam, get this book. Crowe hits the major topics, goes deep where you need it, and gives practice tests and exam tips to top it off. His style is clear, easy-to-follow, and effective. It worked for me - as I said: I passed! Also, I recommend the book for colleagues who want a quick exposure to agile - who want to understand the history, current practices, and techniques.

The content is great. The quality of the printing leaves a lot to be desired. I have bought and returned two of these so far. I don't know if they print these things using inferior glue or what, but whole chunks of the book fall out. Let's hope the third time's the charm. Beyond that, the content seems to be on par with some video training I've gone through for this exam. I'm not taking it for another 3-4 months, so time will tell how complete it is for exam prep.

Just the Basics
If you are already well versed in Agile, this book will help you prepare effectively for the exam. The strong points are the glossary which helps clarify the language that PMI uses and the sample exams. At the same time. this is absolutely bare bones text. If you have taken a prep class, this is good additional material. It will help you pass the exam. It will not help you master the material.

PMI-ACP CERTIFIED ON THE FIRST TRY
Once I committed to reading the entire book, highlighted key guidance and focused on time I saw the word "Exam" I paid extra close attention. The book really helped me to focus on the the important aspects of the test. Hats off toMr. Crowe. I passed on the first try on October 26, 2018.

Worth it. Earned PMI-ACP!
Worth it, especially if you have limited time. However, practice a lot of simulation exams as that's the key of passing the exam, of course you need to have a good understanding of AGILE methodologies that PMI focuses on. Just earned my PMI-ACP credential yesterday!

I'm not completely done, yet, but it seems a little thin. If the PMI-ACP exam is as difficult as the PMP exam, I doubt that this book will give me adequate preparation.

As Advertised
Simply put this book did as advertised, help me pass the exam on the first try! Combined with a few coursera overview courses, and reading front to back twice, including the practice tests, this text was extremely valuable.

although provides a good summary, is not enough to pass the ACP ...
Yes, I passed in first attempt but that was because I had prior knowledge and experience of Agile. In my honest opinion this book, although provides a good summary, is not enough to pass the ACP exam. The exam was mostly scenario based and if you do not have deeper understanding of Agile concepts, it will be difficult to pass.

Clear and targeted advices well worth following!
After reading the book I passed the PMI-ACP exam well above target in all domains. All chapters are great read but the last one on how to prepare and the glossary are well worth the price. With the good advices and way of thinking about the exam that were provided: I could tackle all ambiguous questions with confidence, pointed in the right direction. Thank you Merci

Inaccurate
One of the worst agile books I've read. I found many mistakes and inconsistencies with Scrum guide and agile manifesto. The tests at the back of the book have questions that are misleading and pretty sure even wrong according to PMI. Not very helpful to pass the PMI ACP certification.
