CUSH Cosmetics Mango Babassu Shampoo Bar with Mango Butter and Babassu Oil (3.5 oz)

I have mixed feelings on this shampoo bar. I was thrilled when I first tried it because it rinsed out so well and still kept my waves in tact without tangles. However, by the end of the day my scalp felt very itchy and overall, the shampoo seemed more drying. I expected it to be moisturizing based on the description. I am happy though, with the ingredients. It is so hard finding a natural soap without added fragrance or almond oil- both I am allergic too. I will keep trying it and see if it becomes less drying over time.

I have long, thick hair and with any regular (liquid) shampoo I've ever used - even the highly moisturizing ones - my hair has always been a bit frizzy and a little coarse/dry. After the first wash with this, the frizz is gone and my hair is soft. I did not expect anything near these results. I hoped for a reduction of frizz and maybe a little less dryness, but this did an amazing job. I've only been using it for about two weeks, so time will really be the test to see if the results remain consistent, but as an initial review, this has been a pleasant surprise. One con to the bar: it is a little more time-consuming to work through the hair than a liquid. But really that is such a small thing compared to the results and the fact that this is a natural and biodigradable product that it is worth it.

I love it but.... I thought I would have received a lot more of the product. The bar was very small but I seriously loved the bar for shampooing. It didn't dry my hair out and I was left with really defined, moisturized curls. I have a mixture of 3c and 4a hair. Be careful in the shower and keep it away from water unless you're using it. The last bit of mine disintegrated in the shower so quickly.

It has mint in it or at least it smells minty. I don't like mint. It doesn't rinse out of my hair and I've never had any luck with rinsing agents. I have to say though it is of very good quality and I may try some of their other soaps.

I was excited for this, but it left my hair feeling filmy and stiff. Not a terrible product, but it didn't work for me.

Love the fact this is an organic product and I’m not exposing my already fragile hair to chemicals. The lather is unbelievable, and combined with the Uncolied Detangling Conditioner, it’s a beautiful washing experience. My hair actually feels clean and not stripped, and I find it to be incredibly moisturizing and so easy to rinse. I grew up believing you have to wash multiple times before conditioning, not with this bar. One and done, and my hair feels thoroughly clean. I especially love it for travel as I can carry it on without worrying about TSA restrictions. One of many great products from Cush. I’m a definite fan!

Just okay as a shampoo bar-- works well as a regular body bar. Clean smell .

Didn't like as well as others we've tried. Leaves a slightly waxy feel to my hair.
