Replacement/Spare Remote Transmitter/Controller for KOOLKANI KK-360 Remote Dog Training Shock Collar System

The only issue that I have had is that the collar charger port stopped working. I contacted the seller and they sent a new collar unit. Be gentle when charging the collar unit - the port is delicate.This device works great as a trainer. I wouldn't use it with a small dog, but ours is 1yr, 70lbs and his head comes up to my hip, so it's hard to catch him if he's doing something wrong. He also wants to play rough with my wife, so this gives her a tool to calm him down. We have only used the electricity a few times when it was necessary and he understands now that if he hears the beep then he is doing something wrong. He really doesn't like the vibration either.No the electricity isn't too much (and there is a setting to adjust it) - I've shocked myself with it and although a very unsettling feeling, it does not hurt. Again, I would not use on a small dog. Also, make sure the collar is snug fitting - if too loose then the shock won't work and the vibration won't have the same effect.

I like the collars and their range and their water-proofness (if sealed) but I've replaced the handset at least once a year because I leave it in the rain or humidity. My own fault but it seems like it could be a LITTLE more tolerant of moisture. Looks like it would be. These collars even trained my beagle mix, and she was a real runner....

The buttons are made so you can't accidently depress one and shock your dog. The power port is a bit hard to seal. They last for a while but you have to replace the transmitters and receivers periodically if you use it hard.

We very the three collar system and lost the remote. This one worked well, automatically reconnected to the collars and came with batteries!

So happy they have replacement at reasonable cost.Worked like a charm with original collars.After several collar systems....this has been the best!!
