This little dish is perfect for holding your steeped teabag or any other little thing such as rings by the sink, vitamins or paperclips. The bicycle imprint is glazed in a semitransparent navy blue glaze to enhance the vintage imprint pattern. It is glazed on all surfaces with a glossy clear glaze and is footed with rubber dots to prevent slippage on the counter. The unique stamped pattern was created by making a clay stamp from an old wood toy block. You can tell that I rolled out the original clay slab with fabric as the texture of the dish is slightly irregular which adds to the character of the dish. Glazes are food safe.
