Kapak Electric Hearing Aid Dryer

Somewhat disappointed as the item is lightweight plastic and the hinges look fragile, definetly looks better in the photos. I can’t say much about the quality as it’s difficult to judge if it’s really dehumidifying through just heat. Not that confident in placing my very expensive hearing aids in this. I guess I should have read the description more carefully, and now wish I had purchased something made in USA rather than China. ***update - after leaving this review I have now been using successfully and it is doing the job really well***

I need something to take the moisture out of my hearing aids because I walk a lot when the weather is nice out. I have a problem with sweating very heavily and it drips into my hearing aids and shorts them out. So far I have not had any problems with my aids because I have been putting them in the humidifier every night when I go to bed. Hope this solves the problem permanently.

FULL TRANSPARENCY requires me to admit that i get annoyed with people who leave product ratings based on customer service/shipping problems/etc. BUT

My only complaint is that it does not have a switch so I have to plug and unplug it. There are times that I put it in the dryer on a hot humid day while I shower after work so it'll dry again. I hate reaching behind the dresser to unplug it.

GREAT! After years of failing to keep desiccant balls "Blue",and hearing aids dry, I am pleased to report that the Kapak Electric Hearing Aid Dryer has changed the game. I have disposed of the "little white balls" and now rely entirely on the Kapak Dryer. To date it has done what it is designed to do and has done it very well. In addition, while not verified yet, I believe it has extended battery life as well. I recommend it most highly.

This is a good size, I was afraid that it would be small but it can easily fit both my aids. You’re do get the square one not the rectangle one shown in your orders. Seems to have worked so far.

I know that I am usually prompt about posting a review good or bad. The jury is still out. I am planning to take this on a trip in October (cruise) and needed something portable and easy to pack. I will repost once I get a better idea how well this works.
