Nintendo 3DS XL Handheld System - Black/Blue (Renewed) [Nintendo DS]

I have ordered a Refurbished - Excellent: Nintendo New Galaxy 3DS XL.Through Amazon's shipping, I received this beautiful New Galaxy 3ds xl early! The system had everything with it to get started as I was provided with a charger with the system listing I had chosen through CaveGamers, and it did have the stylus. I've thoroughly inspected the New 3ds xl exterior and interior.The exterior barely any cosmetic wear whatsoever! There's not much that could've been concerning. There was maybe one or two surface level scratches on the top and bottom of the case, but you have to go out of your way to notice or feel them. No chips in the paint and I like how the Galaxy shines!As for the inside of the system, it's also in excellent condition. I tried out all of the buttons and they felt snappy as they should. There wasn't any damage or scratches on the screens or other cosmetic damage that I was able to tell.All that I needed to do was let the system charge as it was dead on arrival. I ordered a replacement battery as I know these systems and their batteries are starting to reach their end cycle. The battery currently in the system looked fine but was barely bloating so I'm upgrading with a new regardless. Either way, the new 3ds xl turned on after getting the battery to full. I was welcomed to the setup screen. The screens were working as intended too, with no dead pixels and the 3D with its tracking is reliable.Overall, the system looked like it was barely used! While I used to have the old 3DS in Red as a kid, this feels so far as a great upgrade! I am impressed with what I received and feel this is what I would've expected. I'm going to relive my childhood!

Came as describe. Some scratches in the front plate but none in the inside which is what I care. The system works as it should. I installed a 32gig micro SD card for more data.

At first, everything looked great on the surface. All buttons worked, minor scratches on the screen. However, it wouldn’t read my 3DS game cartridges. At first, I thought it was maybe my cartridges, but I tried the same cartridges on my other 3DS XL and everything worked fine. This was a huge let down. I’d be wary of Amazon Renewed products. The prices seem to fluctuate nearly every week for the same console and QC is poor. Reading other reviews, seems like there were more bad experiences with Amazon Renewed for this product than good. I was really hopeful, but was let down. Also note that the console does not come with a charger.

The condition of the console was very accurateI had bought 2 of the same handheld from “Toys and Video Games Store” and “Cavegamers” Both were listed as refurbished Excellent condition and same price of 494$ The one from T&V was way better looking The only issue with the 3DS from Toys and video games is that the top screen didn’t have 3d it looked very weak to me and didn’t lift off screen other than than that the console came with about 4-5 noticeable scratches and a little scratch on the top screen less than a millimeter bottom screen was scratch free I do NOT recommend Cavegamers at ALL and HIGHLY recommend you buy from T&V also this ONLY applies to the “New” Nintendo 3DS Pokémon Solgaleo and Lunala Black edition, nothing else

Based on the mixed reviews I didn’t expect to get this good of a 3ds I bought mine in “excellent condition” and it looks pretty much brand new. There’s like one tiny tiny scratch that’s not really noticeable unless you look real close so It doesn't really bother me. It came with a stylus and a charger no SD card though which is fine. The charger doesn’t fit in all the way I don’t remember if that’s normal since I hadn’t had a 3ds for awhile but it still works and charges fine so I don’t really care. Oh and the cameras work fine.Update: The charger gave out. (One of the soldered wires in the inside of the charger detached). The charger seemed pretty cheap and light weight from the get go, but I thought it would be fine since it worked in the beginning. I recommend getting another charger before It might give out, just in case. Other than that still no complaints.
