I was actually super scared to use these, my buddy works at Nissan and owns 9 V36 G35s and told me nothing is ever as good as OE valve covers. My VQ35HR had it's original valve covers (odometer said 253k) and the tube seal on cylinder 5 was bad and causing a misfire. Didn't want to pay for the OEM ones so found these and decided to give them a try - worst case I just lost $100 and then I would get the OE ones. They are actually very nice. Compared them to the originals and I'd be lying if I said I could tell them apart. They came with new hardware but I opted to use my original hardware since it was still in good shape and some other reviews said something about the hardware failing. If you don't have your OE hardware, THAT I recommend spending the money on to be safe. I also used Permatex Ultra Gray gasket maker. They went on just like the originals came off so if you know what you're doing you'll be fine, if not then you need to check out Nico Club and find the factory service manual - it will tell you where to put the gasket maker (it's not around the whole thing!!) and will give you torque specs for everything along with the torque pattern and a whole bunch of other really good information. Multiple burnouts in the shop, a drift event, and a year later and they are still holding up perfectly fine. I'm using O'Reilly 5w-30 (just needed something cheap to go in it for now) but will eventually be switching to rotella (if I can find it) or royal purple since most of this engine's life will be drifting - not paying for motul because this car will also be street driven. Don't listen to the kids on tiktok, instagram, or the other reviews saying they were leaking after x amount of time that were written with bad grammar. Take your time, do everything right, and you'll be fine. --- TL;DR - actually pretty nice, hard to tell apart from originals - use original hardware or pay for new OE hardware, do not use provided hardware - used permaxtex ultra gray and referenced FSM from Nico Club for application areas - after burnouts, drifting, and a year and they're still doing fine - don't listen to dumb kids and bad grammar, do it right the first time and you'll be fine

Build quality seems to be very good. Visually nice. So far no leaks past the gaskets. MUCH cheaper than OEM. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that my 2008 VQ35HR needed 12 bolts per side and the kit only includes 10.

Great Valve Cover! This Fit my 2007 Nissan 350z perfectly with no issues ! This does come with gaskets but I do recommend getting the OEM Valve Cover (Gaskets) instead. But other than that the valve covers are a solid choice ! Highly recommend!

The cover and gasket is perfect but don’t use the bolts. We decided to use the bolts that came with the package instead of the original ones and 2 of the bolts snapped while installing them.
