The Best MR11-Size L.E.D. Bulbs
These are the best MR-11 size L.E.D. bulbs I have ever seen, and I have tried quite a few of the disappointing competitors. Many people are familiar with the fairly common "MR-16" size bulb, but the far less common, and much smaller, 'MR-11" size bulbs arean unusual specialty item made for miniature and task-specific light fixtures.such as framed artwork light fixtures. These bulbs are just perfect. They are dramatically better than competing bulbs. The problems I have encountered with previously-purchased MR-11 L.E.D. bulbs were:* The angle of light dispersion was too narrow (they produced a "spot" rather than a wide "flood" of light)* The brightness of the bulb was insufficient (they simply did not produce enough light)* The "color temperature" of the light was an unpleasant blue-white of 3,500 to 6,000 Degrees KelvinThese bulbs are perfect, because:* They offer a wide angle of light dispersion, a wide flood of light* They are impressively bright for their small size, providing ample light* The color temperature is a pleasant amber-white, like an old style incandescent bulb(2,800 to 3,000 Degrees Kelvin)Combine all that with the fact that these L.E.D. bulbs draw less power than astandard tiny nightlight bulb, and they are rated to last for tens of thousands of hours, and you have the "perfect" L.E.D. light bulb in the not-so-easy-to-find specialtysize of "MR-11".I'm using two of them in wall-mounted framed artwork light fixtures, and I leave them on 24-hours-a-day.

Would be great if they would work...
Heads up to anyone looking to replace halogen bulbs in an appliance. If the appliance you are installing into has a transformer inside it (converting standard AC to DC) then you do have the potential of installation problems. Because LED's will draw about 10% of the wattage as the halogen bulb you're replacing, there could be problems with the LED bulbs like dim light, strobing or not turning on at all. I replaced two halogen bulbs in a vent hood with these bulbs and had two LED's illuminate on one bulb and only one on the other (out of ten each). I replaced the transformer with a transformer supposedly recommended for LED bulbs and still only had partial illumination on these bulbs. Not sure what the problem is with these, but I'm now going to change to an LED bulb with a driver that can take standard AC current and get the transformer right out of the equation. So, in summary if you have an appliance with a DC transformer, I would recommend using a different bulb and just removing the transformer.

Slightly odd fit
The light that this bulb produces is great. No complaints there. It is a nice warm white color as stated. My one complaint is the way that the LEDs protrude from the front of the bulb ans how the leads are exposed. I replaced some MR11 halogen bulbs in a range hood. The bulbs are held in by a metal lip around the perimeter of the bulb. Naturally the lip is a slightly smaller diameter than the bulb so the bulb won't fall out. The problem I have is that this lip ends up contacting some of the exposed leads on the bulb, thus shorting out some of the individual LEDs on the bulb. With a little jiggling I can sometimes get this problem solved, but it only seems to work for a short time before it settles back down and some of the LEDs end up getting shorted out again.I may get around to trying to cut a thin clear plastic shim to stick between the metal lip and the bulb.

Good Color, Good output
These bulbs are not polarity sensitive as many LED bulbs are.Good and bright. A pair of these draw 0.18 amps at 12.6 volts. They are as bright as some halogens which drew 1.2 amps @12.6 and nearly the same color. They do creat RFI interference on my Antenna TV. It will knock out channels 7 and 11(actual) if placed within a couple feet of the TV, from a full strength signal to nothing.

Good idea as replacement for Halogen spots
Update August 2017: After less than two years of service (used no more than 3 hrs per day), one lamp was barely putting out light, so I replaced it with the other which was still in the package. It, too, faltered! A halogen 10W halogen bulb works fine, so the fixture is not at fault. The solid state lamps are a great idea if they last longer than halogen.(2015) I replaced 4 20W spot Halogens in a Malibu 8308-9903-10 Piece Pro Light Set with these and they fit perfectly. New total is 4 x 1.8 = 7.2 Watts rather than 80. (Incidentally, see Amazon or ClarkHoward.com for "Watts to lumens" conversion.)LEDs are great for product life, power consumption, and appearance.

Very nice bulb. Close to the same color of a halogen, brighter and wider angle.
So far they are working great. Nice warmish color. The documentation says 3000 k, but I think it is a little warmer. I've had the bulbs a few weeks and so far no burn outs or flickering. I am using them for outdoor landscape lighting, but the documentation says they are indoor bulbs. It is summer now, we will see how they handle a Michigan winter! One of the things I really like about these bulbs is the 120 degree beam angle. I have one of these under small trees and they light up each tree very nicely, I made my first order of just 2, to try them out and make sure they didn't just burn out right away. Once I tested them for a week or so, I ordered many more.

perfect replacement lamps
I used these in low voltage hanging tree lamps for the "moonlight" effect the fixtures are made for. The LED lamps fit easily in the pins and the color and level of the light given off is perfect. These were used to replace 20 watt halogen lamps, which they do well . The light spread is good and the moonlight effect they create through the tree is also great. This completes the transformation of all of our outdoor landscape lighting to LED - using a fraction of the wattage the lights used to. Well worth the money.

Great LED bulbs!
Received product as described. The light intensity and lumens produced by these bulbs is excellent.Using these for outdoor garden spotlights and they work great; no problems even in freezing cold temperatures.I would buy these again.

Absolutely brilliant. I have an old Ikea halogen desk lamp ...
Absolutely brilliant. I have an old Ikea halogen desk lamp and the 20W bulb makes the casing overheat so I can't touch it to adjust it. I got these to try - they are brighter and have a warmer colour temperature and the lamp is now cool so I can leave it on at my desk and adjust it when I want.I am going to use the other bulb for a disused fibre optic Christmas tree - I stopped using it for fear of it going on fire because of the halogen bulb. These bulbs are brilliant. Good price for what they are.

Ottime lampade LED
Ottimo prodotto. 10 led, luce calda.

Good replacement bulb
Almost exactly the same dimensions as the original halogen bulb. Very bright....not sure how long this will last but so far so good!
