I buy this regularly. I mix it in with our chicken food. This stops the dogs, pheasants and other rodents from eating the chickens food and the chickens love it. Especially if their layers pellets are covered in it, which the chickens used to always leave. Now they eat the layers pellets covered in chilli powder.All round win win.

Bought this for using in my garden and on any house plants to keep gnats out it is a nice big bag, it will get used for cooking then when I do I will edit the review regards to taste and heat

Perfect and Good value

A 1kg bag of fine ground size of Very good quality cayenne Peppers. These are stated as being All Natural and by taste and texture, I would estimate the bag to be 100% cayenne Peppers. Proper deep rich aromas and has correct texture and taste to be cayenne. I use a lot of Cayenne. It is to me, what Salt is to others.I stopped adding any salt to foods in my late 30s. My Peppers consumption greatly increased after I put salt away. The taste has the correct heat level!! I like the powder being in the 1kg size.I have always enjoyed Chillies, either individually or as a mix of several. I make my special recipe Rubs and Marinades for Beef, Chicken, Pork, and Seafood. The one ingredient in all four is Cayenne. This is my first time trying this company and I am very well pleased. I do enjoy how this has a more fresh, less refined (aka watered down by other Chillies and bulking herbs. It is very comparable to my home grown cayenne Peppers. I buy because I try but can never grow enough for our daily consumption.
