This IS the strap you need for your trees
This is the second order of these tree straps. They are the right dimensions for your newer trees and allow a nice option to attach various types of cords/ ropes through the metal eye. Very happy with how the product works for me needs.

Does the job
I've used these before so ordered again...lasted 4 or 5 years then started to deteriate.....doesn't damage delicate tree limbs

Great for younger trees
Perfect what I needed for my newly planted young trees which are about 1 1/2" - 2" in diameter. I use these for 2 purposes:1. For staking the trees2. To hold the water gator bags and hose for watering. I used a closed hook through the grommet hole and then placed an S hook to hold the water gator and the hose.While the quality was very good, I would check with others to see if they have used these on 4" or larger trees.

Very strong.
We ordered these for trees we planted. They worked great. Very durable and strong. We live in a very windy, four season area and these straps have held up very well.

Good tree securing option
I followed the recommendation of installing opposing straps to prevent the strap from dropping down on windy days. Yesterday was very windy and the straps never fell down and the tree swayed the way it should to stimulate rooting. The recommendations said don’t strap it down so hard that the top of the tree could snap and/or allow the tree to sway some so the root ball knows to have to grow and secure itself.

Perfect
Gets the job done, and does it well. This gave me the peace of mind knowing my tree wont get damaged by a piece of garden hose.Soft but strong, they do exactly what they're intended to do.

No more slippage
Great solution to the old method of using a cut hose. The hose will slip unless you wrap it around a tree branch. The down side there is the down ward pressure on the branch itself. The straps allow you to wrap around the tree trunk itself with no slippage. I recommend this over any other product I have tried

Work great!
They work great and are safe around the base of the tree. I will be ordering more since we have so many trees and I like how they look and hold up.
