Very good set and decent crimping tool. Good value for money

For crimping lightweight bootlace ferrrules this tool does a great job. My previous tool was one of the multi-anvil "plier" style ones with multiple slots for different sizes, and was more time consuming and fiddly to use as well as bulky, and the ferrules could jam into the anvil. So I recently had a big number of 1.5mm flex cables to bootlace. This tool was very quick, no messing about and it made a perfect job. I have not tried other sizes yet. Note: Anyone interested in crimping barrel-connectors for jointing cables, ring or spade terminations, (insulated or uninstalled) then this is the wrong tool for the job! -(You would need a more powerful and correctly sized ratchet crimper). This tool will crimp lightweight bootlace ferrules, and it does it very well

I brought this the other day as needed a crimp set & tool. I liked the idea of not having to figure out which crimp size to go for, so the circular crimp feature was very attractive. The force adjustment knob is really easy to use. The kit comes with a really good selection of crimps from 0.5mm to 10mm in various quantities. I am looking forward to buying Baurixs other crimp sets when I need some different ferrules. I would highly recommend this product to anyone loking for a good bootlace crimp & ferrule set.

Great quality

Surprisingly quality feel with loads of ferrules! Yet to use in anger but a few practice crimps to get the compression right makes a lovely neat termination. Handle is slightly silicon-y but feels hard enough to stand a bit of abuse, and the organiser tray for the ferrules is a nice touch. Ratcheting action is solid with a satisfying click at each step. Interesting that all the bumf is in German - came with a 10% discount but I don't know what for, because that too is in German! Overall very happy and will be keeping an eye out for more Baurix kit.

Very impressed with the crimper for the price. I previously had one of the other cheap models from amazon but the spring has come lose after a short time and the crimps aren't terminating properly so decided to try this one, the mechanism is solid and handles are comfortable. It doesn't feel like a budget model, also when you take into account the massive box of terminals you get with the tool value for money is unrivalled.

Crimper is really flimsy and feels cheap but good range of crimps

Beim Auspacken fiel mir sofort auf, dass die Kiste voll ist. Die Zange liegt gut in der Hand, das Aufklappen geht leicht. Ich habe sie über ein Jahr im Gebrauch, meist für die Elektrik am Bauwagen und für die Lampe im Schuppen. Die Selbsteinstellung funktioniert zuverlässig, man muss nicht nach Justierschrauben suchen. Die Aderendhülsen sind in einem ordentlichen Sortierkasten, bis 10 Quadratmillimeter alles da. Mein Nachbar hat sich die Zange mal ausgeliehen für seine Solaranlage und war zufrieden. Die Pressung sitzt fest, nichts rutscht raus. Für den Preis ist das eine solide Sache. Man merkt, dass man nicht dauernd Hand anlegen muss.

Very good product, very easy to use

The crimper works great. Plenty of options on ferrule sizes. On my project I had some wires that were stacked tight. Luckily the small ferrules I was using the plastic slipped off and and left just the metal ferrule and I was able to get all the wires in where I needed. It only happened on the small ones.
