What a waste...... How can a brand like Columbia put its name in this kind of cheap and very low quality product. I used the wallet for a few days, and the cheap material was peeling off. How could they write "100% Genuine Leather" when it's not.

I've been looking high and low for a practical and comfortable wallet. Your wallet is a very personal thing, and it's like your favorite shirt or shoes, tough to change to a new model, and we'll usually wear it out way beyond it's life expectancy! I was way beyond time to change wallets. I started looking around and I couldn't find that "fit" in the wallets I was looking for in the retail stores. Believe me, I looked at A LOT of them. After reading the reviews and seeing the pictures of this wallet, I decided to pull the trigger and purchase. I am thrilled with this wallet. The design is very practical, holds all the cards I need to carry, and the transparent slot holders are perfect for my driver's license and my business cards. The zippered slot is an excellent feature, where I keep papers I don't want to lose, as well as the ones I don't need to touch often but want to keep with me. What's nice is the slot doesn't add any noticable bulk at all to the closed wallet. I'm sure if you start stuffing it with large amounts of papers and change, that would happen. My only complaint is that I wish the currency slot was a hair-deeper. You have to arrange your bills somewhat precisely and firmly press them into the wallet to have the bills seat without sticking out of the slot. But then they might have to make the wallet wider, so this minor complaint is livable. It feels high quality, and the price can't be beat.

I ordered this for my boyfriend and it is such a good wallet. I was attracted to it because of the two ID slots. He loves to keep a picture of me in his wallet and this way can, and have another slot for his drivers licence. It is a thin wallet- no extra bulky nonsense.The credit cards slots are prefect. He has about 6 different cards that he keeps on him not includeing his license and everything fits so well.My favorite unexpected part is the place where you put your money is plaid! So adorable yet very manly.There is a zipper that runs all along the side where you put your bills. Perfect for a few coins without making the wallet bulky and heavy.At first the wallet really smelled like leather, so is real leather for a fact. But the smell is not over powering and now doesn't even exist.The wallet does come in a box too. It was great because I did give it to him as a gift and it was a very nice box that had Columbia printed on it as well.Over all I wish I could give the wallet six stars it is that good! I would recommend this to any man in need.

Okay, I admit it, I'm one of those guys who hangs on to a wallet until it's well worn and ready to fall apart. It will hopefully be years before I can truly pass judgment on this wallet. I'd say it's about as slim as any other leather wallet with similar features. By the time I've put a driver's license and five plastic credit / membership cards, a few business cards and some cash, it's almost an inch thick. Appears to be well-constructed and I like the pebbled leather look. The zippered compartment is not a highly useful feature for me although I could see where it might be handy to keep cash out of sight. The zipper pull tab makes a little "dimple" in the outer surface of the leather that could be a significant wear spot later on. But overall I'm happy with the wallet right now, and hopefully it will serve me well over time. However, since I didn't spend a fortune on it I won't mind so much if I have to replace it in a year or two.

I like this one a lot.The ads don't show the zipper pocket in the back of the bill pocket.The windowed double-sided "flap/page" with push-out openings in the middle is very nice for display and accessing identification cards (e.g. drivers license & military ID or CWP).The credit card pockets are large enough so putting cards in and pulling them out won't destroy the wallet (as happened with the one replaced from another manufacturer).It also has the traditional center-access pockets for a few things needed only occasionally (like my Bass Pro, Cabelas, and Dick's customer cards).The leather seems of good quality, and the constriction seems robust.So far, I'm impressed by a well made product and would buy it again.dp
