Great book
Great book that I used with my class at the start of my school year to encourage children to have a go and have a positive mindset. The pupils were also inspired to do some lovely art. From a parents point of view, this is a book that should be on everyone’s bookshelf. It creates a lot of chat.

Book literally falling apart listed as acceptable quality
The condition of this book is disgusting. We have had 5 children and never have their books after being handed down again and again ended up looking as appaling as this book. Pages 5 and 6, 9 and 10 were stuck together too. What the heck has happened to this book?? I've seen much better quality books in the bin. How dare amazon list this as acceptable condition!!!!Only has 1 star because I had to check at least one star to submit!!Very disappointed in Amazon

A great book
I bought this book to read to my (ks2) class in September. We talked about the idea from the story, that a dot can be turned into anything. The children drew their own “dot” pictures. This work developed into a mini topic about Aspirations, where the children thought about what they could become as they get older.

A good story to share with children.
A great book about having a go, to show that if you don't try, you will never know if you can do it. Have used it for art classes in a special needs school. Everyone had a go and we had some great results. All the class were excited to see each others work.

Great story
Love this book. The amount of children that say to me they can't draw! This book inspires them to try their best and helps them believe that they can draw. Such a simple story with a great message.
