How to Survive in a Stranger Things World (Stranger Things)

Sorry but binding not what I expected and words so large that it looks odd like it’s written for a little kid... but some of the words like “bitchen” in it sort of inappropriate for my nine year old?

This is a pretty good photo journal if you're into that kind of thing. There aren't any bio's or interviews, its just tons of photos from the show with lots of random quotes from the characters. It isn't unlike those old movie magazines they used to put out in 80's about films like Gremlins, Goonies, and ET. Actually, I think the the author intentionally went that route since Stranger Things is an 80's show and is heavily influenced by Gremlins, Goonies, and ET. In short, before buying this book make sure you read the description. The Amazon description straight out says its a photo book with quotes from the characters and they aren't just saying that because part of the book is that way, the entire book is that way. There's only one Stranger Things book with a lot of detail and worthwhile text and it has an intentionally torn dust cover and they want 30+ for it unless you get it from a marketplace seller or somewhere else.In short, I like the book because it's a photo time capsule with the amusing quotes Dustin and the others say. Sure, I'd have liked a few character bios but I really don't give a damn what an actor has to say about his or her role in a film or show. "I love my character because it reminds me of blah blah blah".

This is a great gift book for anyone who likes and loves "Stranger Things"! "How to Survive in a Stranger Things World" is a book chock full of pictures and advice on how to survive when things get a little (or a lot) strange. This is not a novel, as other people have pointed out. It is a fun guide book! Also, the subject matter is definitely for children and adults who can handle watching the show. I'm picking up more copies for friends and family this holiday season!

It's perfect for my 8 year old. The photo quality is not great. Blurry still shots from the series. But like I said, my 8 year old doesn't care about that. Ha ha.Also it's an easy read for her. Some quotes from the show and just little life lessons in general.
