This is an excellent shower that delivers on either the rain shower or hand shower.This shower didn’t come with any flow restriction valves and I found that without the restriction the flow more than adequate.I purchased these valves separately mainly for water conservation.The same shower with the restriction included has the same model number except the last digit is 1 instead of 2.You may need to weigh up the price difference between buying the restriction valves separate or the 01 model.For information the restrictions provide approximately 9 litres/min.

I think this is a very good surface-mounted shower set. It is easy to fit and to regulate - I just think it is too expensive. I believe this one meets TMV2 standards, so you won't be scalding yourself.I also have the same shower-heads in a concealed arrangement with the "smart control" thermostatic mixing valve which meets TMV3 standards (even tighter regulation of temperature) - but is even more expensive.I think the concealed arrangement looks better - but you pays your money and you makes your choice.I can recommend both - especially if you have a good water supply pressure and, ideally, a pressurised water storage tank. They will both work with a high capacity combi but be prepared for disappointing (i.e. not hotel style) flowrates especially in winter with colder supply water.

Leider ist dieses Produkt ganz und gar nicht das, was ich mir für knapp 300 Euro von Grohe, einem Hersteller mit (noch) einem guten Namen, erwartet habe.Weite Teile des Produkts sind, wie der Name schon sagt, in Plastik gehalten. Das ginge ja noch, wenn es kleine Teile wären, es sind aber auch große Teile aus Plastik. Es fühlt sich billig an. Zum Beispiel auch die Knöpfe an der Armatur fühlen sich so an, als würden sie auch bald kaputt gehen, sie sind sehr leicht und wackeln auch etwas beim Drücken.Das schlimmste ist aber die Verfärbung, die sich schon beim ersten Anschalten an dem linken Knopf gezeigt hat. Keine Ahnung was das ist, es geht jedenfalls nicht ab. Beim Auspacken war die Verfärbung noch nicht da, sie zeigte sich wie gesagt nach dem ersten Anschalten. Möglicherweise eine Verfärbung durch die Wärme?Was auch definitiv nicht geht, ist die Anpassung der oberen Halterung für die Stange. Diese ist mit einer Madenschraube an der Stange befestigt. Das Loch, durch das die Madenschraube geht, ist jedoch nur ganz oben an der Stange und somit lässt sich die obere Halterung NICHT an der Stange bewegen.Die hier bei Amazon in den Fragen zum Produkt getroffene Aussage vom Grohe-Team, dass die obere Halterung verschoben werden kann, ist daher leider falsch.An der Anleitung hat man auch gespart. Bildchen ohne Text sind ja gut und schön, für einen deutschen Hersteller wäre eine Anleitung auf Deutsch aber wohl kein Problem. Leider gibt es die nicht.Für die Montage hätten die Inennsechskantschlüssel auch gerne mitgeliefert werden können. Andere Hersteller können das auch bei billigeren Produkten.Der Schlauch für den Brausekopf ist ganz aus Plastik und sieht sehr billig aus. Außerdem ist er sehr steif.Bis jetzt läuft aber wenigstens noch das Wasser und die Temperatur stimmt auch.Insgesamt nur 2 Punkte, wobei das noch gnädig ist.

I would not buy this item again. We bought it for our bathroom upgrade and my two main issues are - it’s very hard to see which way to turn the temperature control knob as the hot and cold markings are so small and, unless you turn off the water really firmly, you are left with a constant drip, drip until you manage to close off the valve fully. Very poor design or manufacture - not sure which. To replace it I would have to pay the plumber £150 to do the job, so I grudgingly live with the problem. A third issue may be personal, but I find the standard temperature setting to be very high but, as I say, that may just be me.

Worse shower I have purchased, this unit is difficult to use, there is only subtle control change from main shower to the smaller shower, there is no real point where you can turn from one to the other. The shower keeps dripping because there is no definite shut of point on the control. This unit is not reccommended. No support from grohe or the seller. Do not buy.
