Katie and the Starry Night

Katie collection by James Mayhew is worth to keep in your shelf for your kids. It’s Katie’s adventure to the museum, meeting a lot of painting characters and also their painter. I found the price of this book is cheaper from Amazon than the other websites.

Very nice illustrations my son really enjoy the book while learning about art.

I like almost all the books in the series.I have quite a collection of these books. My eldest and the youngest enjoy these books very much, the middle one though doesn't sit through the reading, keeps pacing around in the room but listens carefully, this gives me hope that someday he'll be interested in these books. I bought the books with the intention of introducing my children to the word of famous artists.. going good so far.

My 2 year old bad loved this book from the first time we read it! So much so that I’ve had to buy a starry night poster to put up on the wall. We have since bought the other books in the series and they are all good.

Both my children loved this book.. the younger 5 because the lovely story of jumping in and out of the paintings and an interest in art .... the older 8 because he loves Van Gogh paintings.

These Katie stories are a good introduction to the world of Art and some well-known masterpieces.My five-year-old loves them.

I love this book! It's a story that introduces the art of Van Gogh via the magical experience of Katie visiting a gallery with her Gran. What a brilliant way of introducing children to great art - I shall be ordering more!
