Can it hold your hair up?

I drive a Jeep and I use this. My hair looks just like it did after riding around with no doors and the top off. It will hold.

What does it smell and what color is it ?

As a female I have had people rave about the smell of this pomade (red container). I would say it resembles a vanilla smell. Its a nice clean fresh fragrance. It washes out very easily and is not flaky or cause build up. It holds very well as I have a edgy short hair style.

is this a good pomade for a slickback?

No. Its pretty thick and mainly used for styling and holding. If you want your slickback to not move, sure. Other wise I would go for a hair tonic
