The art of war is not to kill and destroy but to gain advantage through planning and organization
An excellent translation of a classic work that has guided military planners for over two thousand years. Master Sun's principles apply not only to war but to many other adversarial situations in which to goal is to "conquer" another politically, ideologically or economically. Four centuries before the coming of Jesus, the Prince of Peace, Master Sun had already written these words: โIt is easy to love your friend, but sometimes the hardest lesson to learn is to love your enemy.โ
